Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

It's the thrid time that I try to set a date with this girl, but everytime she finds an excuse not too (homework, tired, don't remember the first one) and everytime she never said something like: "oh but tomorrow it should be alright"

so I've trimmed down my options into three possibilities, and please tell me which one of them I should pick, or if you don't like any of them, suggest me something good

1) Keep trying for a little while
2) Keep talking to her but stop trying for a few weeks
3) Stop talking to her completly and let her come to me if she cares at all
4) None of the above (make your suggestions ^^)

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Something like 3. You should wait dont talk see other people for couple of weeks, then start over. I gonna give you my conversation as an example.
---

I asked her for tea at her place in the evening previously, she had a friend coming over, she asked for a rain check...

ME: What's up XXXXX. Did you get a good sleep?
HER: Yes. I feel sooo much better!! How about you?
ME: Well, I kick my neighbors ass yesterday for parking too close to me, now I see him parking somewhere else, so I too feel sooo much better. ;)
We having a tea at your place this evening! What's your address and number?
HER: Well being that I have two small children I don't normally just invite strangers over. I wouldn't mind talking on the phone a little before I acctually have you at my house. No offense, just like to be careful. Lot of weridos out there.
ME: I know, you could be a weirdo too. I don't usually go right over to girl's house for a tea. I like a coffee at a coffee place better, to see if chick is qualified to be with me, or not. . . What's your real name? You told me XXXXX, but your email says YYYYY.
HER: It's XXXXXX, and I can assure I am not a weirdo. Lina is my daughters name. If a chick is qualified to be with you? LOL..are you looking for a friend or more?
ME: So you want me to take your word for it, that you not a weirdo. Cute!! I have to look and judge, if you something I'm looking for and have the right stuff.. You never answered my question about tonight, remember the rain check?
HER: Yes, i remember. I feel horrible, but this week is kind of one thing after another. My sister is getting married so I have her friends coming by tonight to plan the bachelorette party. Sorry for all the excuses, but this weekend maybe we could meet up? I have a sitter Saturday night and am going out with my sister. We are still undecided as to what we are doing though.
ME: Um, too many excuses, I'm not buying it. I'm giving you an opportunity to meet a great guy... so... either we meet tonight or not.
HER: a little hostile?? Sorry my life and commitments come before meeting a guy off the internet. A little too agressive for me..Nice talking to you

....here she deletes me (only me) so she can look at how I will react. She had a clingy guy in her life that stocked her and now facing long prison sentance, so I know she's testing me for neediness.

ME: Not hostile. I don't like being taken for granted.
ME: I don't like being taken for granted... You agreed for a tea at your place and now you saying no. That's not nice.

HER: I don't take anybody for granted, and sorry you feel that way. I have two children I have to take care of when I get home. I can't just act as if they don't exist to have you over for coffee. You have to understand that.
HER: I agreed, but never on an exact date. I already had plans tonight, and no sitter today, sorry. I don't like my children around when I meet guys. it's just the way it is.

^^^^twice because communication problems, internet related

ME: It's tea, no way I'm drinking coffee in the evening.
HER: LOL..tea..sorry
ME: What's up with you deleting me?
HER: My friends list is f*%$#ing up. I tried moving it around and three people got deleted..so sorry
ME: NO. Only I got deleted. Not three people. So don't give me that, ok. ;) If you like me, let's meet, have some tea, and talk about it
HER: LOL..seriously...about the tea. I have to work on a sitter. i told you Saturday i have one, but you have to understand I don't like my children meeting the men I talk to. Not in the early stages anyway
ME: I have plans for Saturday. Pick a date next week, like Monday, or Tuesday, or Wednesday. When you are free, have a sitter, and everything is in order for you, LOL. Then let me know. . . I don't usually do this, but since you have kids, I'll give you another chance.

Now, we gonna boogie next week on Tuesday, at her place. Tea. Sure I'll bring some vine with me, box of condoms in the car, and two in my wallet.

She might say no, of course, but that will be her loss. Not only am I gonna get a date, but I'm also setting the frame of a relationship that I want to have with her. . . if she can get qualified.

This is going to sound harsh, but clearly she doesn't wanna go out with you, because she's making all of these bull**** excuses. Think about it--if a girl you were really attracted to asked you out on a date, would you tell her that you're "tired?"

Forget her and move on. I'm sure there are plenty of other girls you find attractive that you could go for.

I'm coming to the conclusion that you guys haven't read the Bible or did Boot Camp, because if you have, you would know the answer to this question. Babygirl isn't feeling. Move on. Also why do you have only one plate spinning? If you were talking to more than one chick. You'd wouldn't of noticed or cared that babygirl kept flaking out on you.

YOU GUYS HAVE TO LEARN TO GET A ROTATION GOING!!!! Unless your in a commited exclsuive relationship, there's no reason why you guys shouldn't have AT LEAST 4 CHICKS in the bullpen and ready to go.

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.
