"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

For a klondike bar.

I know one of my biggest issues; is fear of failure. It made me ask for advice a few times on this forum. Now I am not saying I am perfect and don't need advice, it's nice to ask for oppinions. What I am saying that all my best learning experiences have been from crashing and BURNING. I wouldn't have failed if I didn't act. I wouldn't have learned if I didn't fail. But the right mentality is simple; to quote a disney movie (step tha fu(k back before you judge me :D) "faint heart never won fair maiden". Easy, plain as day. So...

Instead of worrying about being perfect with every situation, just act. You have to accept a failure rate before you get good at anything. The "game" is no different than other games, Baseball or Mario Brothers, in the notion that you only get better if you work at it (DUH).

Failure, is inevitable, but you never have to accept defeat. See the difference?

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

All the information we get will never be as good as personal experience, especially with failing. With failing, we test ourselves to see whether or not we just give up or we grow some balls and rise up the ladder waiting for the next fall...not as low as the one before. I agree with you

Sweet!

My posts are as much for me to cement the ideas in my brain as it is for some one to read and hopefully flick that light switch on.
