"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Suprisingly decided to move all the way back to my old school for a last semester, to finish my degree. After I put in 4 years I had moved south and started working and I always planned on getting my degree through the mail after.

It is a top 10 party school and a town I love to be in. Got lucky enough to get a place close to campus. One night I just decided I wanted to finish there and started the process of getting re-enrolled.

After being out for three years and working I sure look at it much differently. Went to a party there earlier this summer and had an awesome time, just like the old days.

I will be working on a professional certification at the same time but I want to make the most out of this experience. It will be hard to top my undergrad years, but I don't want to try. Instead of the crazy partying, smoking pot all hours of the day and night and getting wasted.. I want to just chill and have fun, live in it completely for one more semester and oh yeah, meet some of the thousands of 18 year olds who are running around.

Thoughts?

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Actually, Im doing a master study at the University beside my 40 hrs / week job. At the uni, I'm surrounded by girls 19-25 and some 25-35 yrs old.

Its like walking in a candy store, while having enough money to buy a lot of candy :)

Some girls see that Im different than the boys their age. Different = good.
Friday night I walked into a club and I saw a hot 25 yr old cutie was dancing there. I knew her ( a little) from my education and she said "hello". I was being C & F that i didnt knew her and she was hitting on me.. / she was too immature for me... I need girls with more experience/ I dont want to deal with the young girls drama-****.. etc. She ate it up! The truth was she was indeed hitting on me. We hit it off really well :), I have a new FB, with a killer body.

If I were you I would mix and mingle with the girls ofcourse. Be yourself and be different.... be a challenge. Bring it (them) on!

That is great to hear.. I noticed a similar reaction when I told a girl my age at a party there, during the summer. Love the candy store analogy, would have to agree. I struggled during my 1st year there, and the second too, in getting with girls that I liked. Girls I didn't really like didn't seem to be an issue. Only the ones I really wanted. I remember making that breakthrough before I got on the board here, but I'm definitely a different person now.

I remember my first year I went out to a coffeeshop with a girl from class and I barely was able to look her in the eye. Another girl from another class, I missed a chance to kiss close and sent her flowers later that week. Wow that was a good one. She nexted me pretty hard lol. I can laugh about it now because they were trials to gain the understanding that we aim for on the forum. I'm no means a finished product but I feel like my chances are much better this time around. No expectations just going to go for it. Glad to hear you are doing the same.

I am thinking of going back to college myself. I completed my BA in my early thirties and those were the best years of my life! Now that I am in my mid-30's am really thinking of going back for my masters or Phd.

I say go for it!

A universe...where heartbreak and sadness have bee
I have dreams about being back in college.

Honestly...I always feel "out-of-place" there.

I dunno what I was doing there in the first place. I was just the smart kid, so everyone said I had to go to college and get a degree...a bachelor's is pretty much a "higher education diploma" now. You can't get a job without it.

I came in thinking maybe Engineering, but the weed-out course that they run for that program turned me off from that. So I declared Comp-Sci, went about a year before I decided I didn't want to grind code the rest of my life. Was a psych major for about 2 years...thought maybe I could figure people out. But then I realized that psychology is largely a bullsh*t-science. Eventually majored in Economics.

Haven't used a lick of it since college. I work in computers now, believe it or not.

The only class I ever really ENJOYED was an honors philosophy seminar I took my freshman year. The professor took a unique approach to it, actually using "Socratic method" to encourage dialog.

A friend of mine who was in that class went on to take some more philosophy classes and said they were nothing like it...boring logic problems and rote memorization.

The only good thing about college was the after-class atmosphere...and to be honest, I wasted that, being the "chump" that I was. When I finally developed "game", I ran it at college bars close to home.

Now I feel a little old for those places. I just don't relate to the "woo" party atmosphere as much as I used to. Even if I'm getting sh!t-faced, I prefer to be in the company of people that I can have deep, intellectual retarded drunken conversation with. If that makes sense.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

I would seduce a quiet wallflower of a girl who has yet to ever really fall in love. Make her go crazy over you so much that every other man who comes after you can only be a disappointment. Doing that several times was the most fun I had in college.
