me and a friend were discussing this earlier. what would it take to ultimately put women back in their place? lets say we have an apocalyptic scenario, lots of people die, and everybody loses it. dangerous strangers roam the land, food is short, we have to hunt our food or farm it, theres no medical help, no poleese, etc.

i think that women would once again depend on men for survival. it would take a total paradigm shift. and their favor in men would shift toward those who have skill. just like in ancient times, those had skill, intelligence, and technology were the ones who survived. survival of the fittest...not the ones with courtship skills or a big mouth or are the best looking.
as a modern society we have changed since ancient times. i think this article makes a good point.

imagine this above scenario in reverse.
so they would no longer behave like princesses anymore, they would have to assume the role of man's helper once again.
my friend says " i dunno man, we have technology today. even a woman can pull a trigger." i said,"yeah thats true. but how many of these princess biatches we got running around today do you think would have the mental toughness or the strength to survive in a world like that?". to which he had no answer. the spoiled princesses would be the first to go. they have a mental break down over one rejection for gods sake. in an apocalyptic world they would cry for daddy to protect them.
of course a lot of men couldnt handle it either. i think i could do it, being i grew up hunting and farming, so i have some survival skills.
im talking about this because the behavior of most females today just makes me sick. something needs to happen. im all for stepping up my own game and improving myself. i keep at it, but how disrespectful and dishonest women are still disgusts me. i lose respect for them everyday. i seriously believe this would be the only scenario that would fix the whole thing.

Well, I think you're a lot angrier than most guys I know. So there's that.

I don't know that it takes an apocalyptic scenario for women to get "put back in their place". There are plenty of guys out there getting laid. It's not like there are armies of single men in the streets, rioting because of lack of success with women.

If some bomb destroyed society, and women became reliant upon men for survival, then yeah...I guess you'd have a steady, reliable girlfriend. But a relationship built on dependence isn't going to be nearly as fun for you as a relationship built on sexual interest or love. If your goal is to have some broad follow you around because you can hunt possum and plant potatoes, then yeah, I guess your scenario would work. But that just sounds like two people desperately clutching to each other.

I still think that complaints like yours comes back to investing time in low quality or disinterested women. I have a number of friends who are not "cool" or "suave" that have healthy relationships with women. Sure girls are annoying and flaky and b!tchy, but it's not THAT bad out there.

If he's talking about putting things back to the way they were in the 50s or before, it probably would take some sort of apocolyptic event, or at least a very large economic disaster the likes of which we haven't seen yet.

I think all it takes is one man at a time wising up and setting boundaries and enforcing them. Eventually when enough men do this, women's behavior as a group will change for the better. Unchecked behavior only gets worse over time.

Without high-hormone foods in which to hide injections of even more hormones, women (and men) won't have precocious puberty. People will develop mentally for a few more years. Spreading contraceptives is the foot in the door to selling cheating, divorce, and abortion. We should start some sort of rumor campaign that taking progesterone ruins a woman's health -- sort of like the campaign against cholesterol. Basically, we need to defacto criminalize contraceptives.

The other suggestion is obvious. Wages must rise drastically. If men make a lot more money, women will have the luxury to live on men and raise their babies. That'll take a lot of women out of the workforce, and further increase wages for men. The whole culture will go back to supporting marriage.

Nothing drastic has to happen. Just go back to the ways things were even as recently as the early 1960's, when things were better in general anyway. If you take away affirmative action and preferential treatment of females in school and employment, get rid of no-fault divorce where women initiate divorce 90% of the time, get rid of welfare for able bodied women to have children and live without a man, reform child support, maybe stop funding planned parent hood etc. Basically take away all the preferntial treatment and programs that allow women to exist financially independently of a man.

its not that i deal with feminists on a daily basis, its that all women have been affected by feminism. combine that with the fact that they are incapable of honesty, their standards are too high, and yet dont know what the fvck they want=total mindfvck.

The only country which is leading a tangible backlash to this right now is Japan, through the Herbivore trend. I realise there is a thread on this. Well, I certainly don't sit around pining for the old days. I've never been one to want to go backwards, even at my age. And I definitely don't want to go through the type of disaster that would have to occur to turn things around in regards to feminism.

I think we'd all agree the pendulum has swung too far in favor of women in the current culture (although I imagine they still consider themselves victims). Maybe over time that pendulum will start to swing back some, but I'm not going to hold my breath. I doubt that I will see anything like that in my lifetime.
