What to eat?

I am a hard gainer, I'm tired of being lazy and hovering around 133-135. A co-worker made a comment that he was wondering why I haven't put on any weight even though I haven't been to the gym. Even though I'm lean, with my shirt off I look pretty defined. But wearing everyday clothes I still look pretty skinny so I want to gain some mass. In the past 6-7 months I've put on 5-6 pounds (all muscle) which is not great. At least I am making progress, but I need to eat more and put on some more weight.

The biggest issue is WHAT to eat. If I had a personal chef at my disposal I would be ripped by now...but I am not a great cook and I'm not quite sure of what meals to fix. While I do make a protein shake consisting of ice cream, fruit, milk, and protein powder...I'm not sure what else to make to supplement my meals. I get 3 solid meals a day from either a home cooked meal by my mom, fast food. But of course I want to make 2-3 other meals a day on my own, in addition to desserts/snacks throughout the day. What are some good ideas?

I don't want to have an ice cream milkshake twice a day...what are some good shakes with ordinary everyday food? Also, what are some suggestions for simple, yet calorie rich meals? Any suggestions/tips are welcome.

Learn to like it, keep it simple, learn to eat foods that you may not initially like. You definitely can change the foods you like.
Eat cottage cheese before bed, you can spice up cottage cheese with just about anything.
My favorite calorie rich snack is a handful of almonds.
Eat a ton of simple carbs and a big protein shake after lifting.
Eat complex carbs in the morning (oatmeal, whole grain bread), fats in the evening, protein all day.
Eggs are a great, cheap source of protein and easy to cook.
Eat lots of meats, i live off steak, chicken, tuna, and turkey. Also eat a lot of veggies like spinach and broccoli.
Get fish oil pills.
Be sure to count your calories. You probably think you're eating a lot more than you are. I used to think of myself as a hard gainer a few years ago when I was 160 until I really became focused and dedicated about eating A TON, now I'm 210. Keep a log of your lifting and eating and your weight. I lift hard 4x a week and limit cardio to 1 or 2 times a week max, and I eat around 3500-4200 calories per day, and over the past 12 weeks I've gained 14 lbs and my body fat has gone from 8-9 to around 11%. When in doubt, just EAT!!!

I benched 285x5 last Friday. I play a lot of basketball and my main goal is to build up my squat and increase my vertical. I want to be squatting 400 deep, but that's still a ways away. Enough about me, I'm nothing special, talk about eating.
