What to do with oily face?

Is there anything I can do or not do to lessen the oil generated by the face?

My face (especially the nose) is often very oily. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated! (Please be specific)

Go out and buy a PURPOSE cleansing bar. I've got an oily face too and this soap bar does a good job in keeping my face clean and wiping away the oil for the day without drying it up.
Iv'e heard its a good cleanser if you've got acne also.

if you have acne along with oily face i'd suggest www.acne.org, it works GREAT. If you're just concerned about oil, buy Clean & Clear Oil Absorbing Sheets(about $3-4 for pack of 50). They work instantly and you can see how much fvcken oil was on your face before.

Those pads are BS. Rubbing something on your face will irritate it.

Wash your face with a very mild cleanser like Eucerin, then apply lotion. If your face is moisturized it won't make oil, and u would rather moisturize it with lotion because lotion doesn't cause acne.
