"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Ok, now I've just started learning the DJ philosophy during the past 10 months or so. Thanks to this site and some effort I have gone from a complete loner to one of the most popular kids in my school. I’ve broken off all of my pointless LJBF relationships with girls except for one, that’s why I’m posting here today, for some advice. It’s kinda a unique case in my opinion and you’ll see why in my post but then again all cases are unique in some regard.

So basically before I started learning all the DJ ways I had maybe a few friends. This girl was one of them. I met her about a year ago (2 months before I found this site) and we were ok friends then. Inside I thought she was beautiful (I would consider her a HB9 at least now) but my AFC ways wouldn’t have taken me very far with her so I just stayed friends with her. Shortly after I took on self improvement as a hobby and found this site the girl and me started hanging out and becoming real good friends (I made quite a few mistakes, should have waited till my skills were up to par before starting to get in contact with her). Now I’ll spare you any more details of how I got to where I am now but basically I screwed up and we are now each other’s best friend. The other problem with this relationship is she is my neighbor and to just break off the relationship would be nearly impossible and have quite a few consiquences.

Here’s the issue in a nutshell, my life sucks because this chick has LJBFed me. I can’t bring myself to break it off because she is my best friend and I would have to deal with it for quite a while because we are neighbors, no one else lives near us. We are also really best friends, she wants to live next to me when we are adults and wants to be with me all her life, I can’t say much different even though I know that’s a pipe dream and we will most likely go our separate ways after high school. She has made it clear to me that we will only be friends in a speech she gave about the pros/cons of being her best friend, one of the cons was I won’t get to see her naked or make out with her.

What do those of you with experience feel? Would it be in my best interest to break off contact with her and loose my best friend? What would the best way be to go about this? Is there any hope for me in getting out of the LJBF-zone? Right now I’ve gone on the offensive at the moment and am going to avoid her for 2 weeks by staying off instant messaging programs (she will always initiate contact with me unless I have something important to tell her so just not talking to her wouldn’t work and she knows all my tricks in blocking people and appearing “invisible”) and not returning her calls. Is this the right move?

Also note that I am going to have to deal with this decision for a very long time. We just graduated from 8th grade and are moving into high school. That’s four years I have to deal with this until I go into college so if there’s a way to get this girl I’m game for just about anything.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

the classic scene. guy wants the girl and tries c&f ways to get her then makes it way worse and looks like a jackass. you HAVE to avoid that.

however, ur gonna have to start changing some things. the laying off messenging systems is something i would avoid. i would just time myself and dont respond as quickly as usual. explain that u have a lot of ims. dont call her as much as usual and when u do talk make sure u slip in that ur going out with this girl and that girl and dumped that girl.

just a few tips. mostly u can figure it out on sosuave.com.

I haven't looked like a jackass yet ;) . Anyway she loves all the changes I've made to myself. I will definately try to become a little bit more busy, it's taking a little time but I'm slowly opening up to going out with other women, I've been flirting alot with alot of other chicks recently and am going to pick up a girlfriend soon, all of this is uncharted ground for me.

I would stay friends with her and not try to get into her pants. It is always good to have girls that are just friends. I was friends with about the hottest girl in my school and I am so glad that I didn't seek more because it turns out she made a very good friend.

Point is that she might love you as a friend but if she is a really good friend and has already stated that she doesn't want you that way, then you are best off as staying friends. Of course that is just my opinion, but some girls make better friends than anything else,

Well I agree, she is about the best friend I've ever had. Without her I'd be just about lost and I owe her alot (almost as much as she owes me :p) but its emotional hell to be so attracted to her and want to be more then friends when you hang out with her all the time (we've hung out almost every other day this summer so far). Right now my strategy has been to stay friends with her while trying some more subtle ways to knock her out of the LJBF stance

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Ehh this is just a little experiment I did to see how this girl reacts that someone might find interesting. I crafted up an away message for my instant messaging program that basically read that I was on the phone and to call but I might not answer if your not important enough and put it up, in a few minutes I got a good 10 IMs from her asking if I had a girl friend and demanding to know who I was on the phone with. I of course was laughing too hard to put the game to an end so I just let it be. A minute or two later she called my cell phone twice trying to get me to answer… I was of course busy on the phone so I didn’t. If a little experiment goes this far getting a girlfriend and busying up my life seems like a definite solution. Now all I gotta do is decide if I should just leave this message up or come back from away and talk to her some.

lol. I really am laughing out loud. Get back on messagener or whatever and talk to her and tell her something. Like I think she might actually like you that way and is LJBFing you to see what you would do and if you would seek someone else or not. She was playing hard to get. Now you can establish prizability with her to some extent. When ever you all hang out act like you just want to be friends. You are in fact a genious. lol

This man has become a DJ. That was pure genius.

Make your move now. Game her like you just met her, and the friend zone never existed. You've gotten past the hardest part.

Seal the deal!

You've managed to do in the beginning of your DJ career what many vets still struggle to do- break the Friend Zone Barrier. Now you just have to reel her in. Your on track.

mmk this is what I did:

I said screw IMing her back cause I can never really convay any subtle meanings or any sort of stuff in them anyway so I went ahead and called her back. We talked for around 5-10 minutes and I was ****y and funny and she was eating it up like usual. I eventually started to poke fun of her for calling my phone so many times while I was in the middle of an "important call". This instantly lead to a bombardment of questions about who I was on the phone with. I told her it was a secret (of course using the "if I told you I'd have to kill you" line.. lol) and that I was tired so I'd talk to her later. She protested for about half a minute before I put my foot down and we said our good nights.

So tomorrow I'll probley get in contact with her somehow and go hang out with her some, maybe go to a movie. One thing on my mind is we definately have plans of going to Ceder Point (one of the best amusement parks ever for those who live in caves) and that seems like the perfect place to build up some attraction.

**** load of adrenaline/excitement in girl while going down roller coaster + kino = yay

Oh and btw thanks for the positive comments :D its good to know I'm doing something right.
