"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

OK So I've known this girl for over a year now (LVL 9.5) and it was pretty clear we both liked each other (cuz she's told me) but she had a boyfriend and I had a girlfriend so nothing was going to happen. So I broke up with my girlfriend a few months ago and she finally just broke up with her boyfriend (or on a break whatever the fck that means) and the first thing she tells me is that she just wants to be friends. Now, I'm not retarded and I can read a girls body language pretty well and hers is saying that she still wants me yet she says this "friends" BS. When she told me she just wanted to be friends I responded pretty well I think by saying "are you kidding? that ship has sailed sweety" and I've even told her I've been seeing someone else and she seems pretty jealous by this. So I saw her tonight and I started using a lot of kino and joking around and at first she was a kinda into it but as soon as I progressed into anything more serious then a couple second pat (like holding her side ect.) she would pull away. I think a lot to do with it is A. she has never done ANYTHING with any guy except form her ex-boyfriend and B. she was molested as a child and is really weird with the guys she likes (she says "I hate you" instead of "i like you" and hits them ect.). DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY POSSIBLE SUGGESTIONS AS OF MY NEXT COURSE OF ACTION?

Thank you for your time,
Tim D.

Stay away from sexual abuse victims at all costs. You probably don't want to hear this but this girl will cause you nothing but torment and heartbreak and will, if you let her, destroy the relationships you have with your friends and even your family eventually..

Don't do it. Get her out of your life before it's too late. She is a lost cause - they all are. You don't wanna hear about old friends of mine who have gone the route you're considering.

If you don't believe me ask someone who'se been there. I'm sure there's a few guys on this forum who wished they never walked that road.

That's a load of crap IMO, girls don't tell everyone everything...

Sounds to me like she's lost interest and you're trying to convince yourself she's still wants you when the most likely case is, the ship has sailed. Also, as the previous poster said about sex molestation victims...

I've had one, lets just say I was supposed to take her to a party one night, she disappeared for 3 days and had the cops thinking I murdered her and hid the body. A week later she turns up outside my window asking for a ride home. Don't go there, you can't help them seriously...
