i don't see any problem with that... i also keep old girlfriends' or screw-mates' messages on my cell... and my actual girlfriend (who is the most jealous girl on the earth) doesn't care about it... though, she cares about new messages i keep on my mobile, but that's another story

anyway, don't worry about that, it's a really common thing to keep those old sweet SMSs on cell

Ok, hold on.

I know Ive got the numbers of ALL my exes stored. Im "friends" with my exes to the extent we infrequently exchange the odd message or email, bdays, occasions, whatever. Doesnt mean I want to bang them, even if I used to want to bang them. It just means Ive spent a hell of alot of my life with these people and so being friends means something.

There is no value in moving through life without picking up and maintaining friendships, even if theyre friendships wiv people you used to bang.

While it MAY be a red flag, it will only become red enough to worry about if theres other pieces of evidence to go along with it. Preferably, that means her ACTIONS and not just her words or other rumours.

Keep your guard up but dont, whatever you do, flip out about this one little thing.

I think the red flag was the obvious lie when she said that she wanted nothing to do with him. If they're still friends, then why lie about it and not just explain it?

First, if your talking about text messages (and I don't know how much she texts), my phone, for one, stores the last 30. Unless your texting your ass off, 30 texts ago could be awhile.

So, before you freak out, why don't you find out when the time/date of this message was? If your going to snoop, get the damn facts too, bro!

And dude, people - especially chicks - leave numbers in their phones long after they are old/invalid/not used.

Why the f*ck are you going through her personal sh*t anyway? Got something to worry about? If you don't, wait until she catches your paranoid ass, then you will.

No offense, but some of you really need to chill. Goddamn, you can't rule a relationship with an iron fist. Just because a girl has an ex's number(s) or text logs in her phone doesn't mean sh*t. People, stop trying to read into nothing.

I was playing around with my girlfriends mobile phone the other night and looked in her 'INBOX' and saw a few msgs from her friends and a couple from her past boyfriends

Now that you've done what you've done, you've added a new level of mistrust to the relationship. Not only do you no longer 100% trust her because she's consulting an ex, but how much is she going to trust you when she finds out you've been going through her personal things? That's why I always follow the motto, the less I know the happier I am.

If my girlfriend wants to get back together with her ex, so be it, there's nothing I can do about it. So why add extra stress to my life by trying to find it? There are enough women in the world not to warrent worrying about my current girlfriend wanting to leave me or not. Just ride it out and have fun while it lasts.

The future is bleak because it will be brought into existence by the current warped mindset of the youth, which has been established by the adults that preceded them (us)!!! This disrespect from women is on such a large scale today that it will take a sudden catastrophic event to change the mindset of men to do something about it and correct the wrong!!

This "event" usually involves a war on a grand scale where men are forced to embrace their manhood and put women in their proper place for the sake of survival!!!

There are too many manufactured comforts in our society whereby natural laws do not need to be adhered to in order to survive - a "manufactured" state of affairs goes against the natural order of things and thus destruction will follow so that a new beginning may take its' place to go against this corrupted state and re-establish the original pre-manufactured state from which we are naturally inclined to follow!!!

I gotta agree with Dietzcoi & PRL, keeping an ex-f*ck buddy's number/message on the phone is just disrespectful .

It's also stupid! If you want to hide a name, then put it under "Aunt Laurie" or "Uncle James". Leaving it under the ex\s name is just begging for trouble.
