I figure i should probably post here...

No gambling for you :( but actually theres a ton of other stuff to do here (las vegas) contrary to popular belief.

Dining!

Vegas has some awesome restaurants. Here are some pretty good ones (it depends on how much you want to spend). The scale is 1-3, 3 being the most expensive.

The Prime (3) : great steakhouse (best in vegas), expensive but worth checking out. Has views of the fountains at the bellagio and of the strip. It's in the bellagio.

Aqua (3): good seafood, expensive. Also in the bellagio.

Eiffel Tower Restaurant (3): French restaurant. Pretty high up so you get great views of vegas. Great place to take a date ;)

Neros (3): Steak house and seafood. Like most vegas restaurants its high end and very good. located at caesar's palace

Top of the World (3): pretty varied menu. I guess they call it "Continental". This restaurant is on the top of the Stratosphere Hotel/Casino. The restaurant itself actually rotates giving a 360 degree view of Las Vegas. Very cool place.

Andre's (3): Yup another 3, i hope you're ready to blow half your salary when you come here. ANYWAYS, another French restuarant. Top rated here in Vegas. Romantic atmospere, good food. It's near the strip, just south of Fremont Street.

Bahama Breeze (2): This one's more casual than the previous restaurants. It's Carribean cuisine in a fun envirnonment. On East Flamingo and Paradise road.

Fellini's (2): Northern Italian, i've never been there but i've heard its good. Not much tht i can say except where its at (w. Charleston blvd)

The Pink Taco (2): Gotta love the name :D Good mexican food, very casual. It's at the hardrock casino.

P.F. Changs (2): Definite must is you're visiting Vegas. Gormet Chinese food. One of my favorite restaurants here in vegas. They have a few locations all over the vegas area.

Those are a few restaurants i know about here in vegas, if you want more (with reviews) go here http://www.tasteofvegas.com/

SHOPPING!

Hurray for shopping! Vegas has some awesome malls and places to do your shopping. I'll give you three of the coolest places.

The Forum Shops: Located in Casear's Palace. Has some good restaurants and tons of shops. They even have a "3-D" motion ride. Here's a list of all the shops. http://www.caesars.com/Caesars/LasVegas/Shopping/TheForumShops/TheForumShops.htm

The Desert Passage: also has a ton of shops and restaurants. It's in the Aladding Hotel and Casino. Here's a list of the shops and restaurants.

Grand Canal shops: Located in the Venetian, pretty cool place. You can catch a ride on a gondola (one of the italian boats with the guy who has the stick). Here's a list of the stuff there. https://www.venetiansecure.com/merchandise/index.cfm

Entertainment

Where to begin.... I'll list a few things and then give you a few websites that'll tell you about entertainment in vegas.

Caesar's Palace Magical Empire: Pretty cool. Basically it's a magic show with a twist. It's all roman themed. You eat in a special dining chamber and a you get a comic magic show while you eat. Then you go to the main area that has a few theaters that run shows every 30 minutes (or something like that). Kind of interesting, i guess you might consider checking it out. It's in the Caesar's Palace hotel and casino.

Neonopolis: Downtown district with shopping, an arcade, a movie theater, bowling alley, some places to eat, and pool hall. It's more of a place for the younger crowd (like me), so you might be intersted or not. It's right on freemont street.

Freemont Street Experience: Freemont street. A covered street with all sorts of **** to do. Worth checking out. They have different shows (including concerts) and plenty of other entertaining activites. Definetely worth checking out if you're new to Vegas.

Penn and Teller: very interesting show. It's at the Rio. I'll just forward you to a review. http://www.vegas4visitors.com/shows/descrip/pandtsho.htm

Adventure Dome at Circus Circus: Theme park. It's interesting i guess. After you've been there as many times as me it gets old. Definetely for the more younger crowd. An 18 year old wouldn't have much fun...

Rollercoasters: If you're into roller coasters. Theres one at the Adventure Dome, one at Sahara, and one at the New York New York Hotel and Casino. Those are the best in Vegas. The ones at Sahara hotel and New York New York and worth checking out.

Arcades: Gameworks is the big one. All the casinos have them.

Wet'n'Wild: water park. Worth checking out if you like that kind of stuff. I haven't been there in a while but i'm pretty sure they put some new rides in.

There are tons of shows and concerts you can go to. Before your visit check out vegas.com. It has showtimes, attractions, entertain, reviews, and plenty of over stuff. There's pretty much stuff to do here no matter how old you are, you just need to find what you like. I know my list is mainly for the younger crowd, which shouldn't baffle most of you since i'm only 15 (almost 16 :D ) but i do hope my list helped in some way. Again, the best place to go to decide what you're going to do in vegas is.....

Hope that helps.
