"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

I just met this girl yesterday in a restaurant where she's a waitress, she of course waited on me. I could tell we both were attracted to each other. We're both in our early 20's, shes hot, (more so then the girls I usually ask out) and she was flirting with me practically the whole time. The guy beside me through so too. I had other things on my mind at the time and didn't realize it till I was out the door, I didn't even get her name.

What should my next move be? I'm not the smoothest talker but I really like this girl and she obviously likes me. How long should I wait to return? And what could I say so she knows I'm interested and so I don't come across looking like an idiot.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Damn it, even though it's her job to make customers happy with the experience, you could have gotten her name. Didn't she introduce herself before you placed your order? Next time you eat there be sure to get her name. If another waitress is working that station ask for the other waitress (hopefully you can give a good description of her). The waitress will tell her that some guy asked for her specifically and that should at least pique her interest.

Reply to Phoenixpua-london, RE: what should my next move be??

It was a small local restaurant. I sat at the bar, during breakfast. I'm not sure why what I had is important but I had their "signature" sauteed vegetable omelet, home fries, wheat toast and orange juice.

I'm interested to hear what your thoughts are.

Excellent, so the same time this week go in again and see if she is there, if not have the same again anyway and chat to another waitress.

What you need to do is this.

Befriend the other waitress if she isn’t there. Be friendly to her get her number but keep it friends.

If the same waitress is there then, say “OMG fancy meeting you here, are you stalking me?”

Stuff like that works really well cause she knows you are joking around and are funny.

Also the reason I asked you what you eat is because you can use this to your advantage – the only reason you are there is to have the eggs she is just a bonus, I would go for the ****y funny side of you, I don’t know anything about you but would work a treat.

This time get her number though.

Hope this helps – if you need any further help PM me.
