What should I write on my POF profile?

So after spending massive amounts of time and effort running a serious business and running it well. Succeeding where others have failed...

I don't know about that.

Talking favorably about yourself sounds like bragging, even if it is true. Most chicks will have come across a hundred guys lying about their accomplishments. She really isn't going to believe anything you say, until she can verify it anyway.

If she likes you, her automatic assumption will be to think favorably about you, she will likely think you are better than you really are... if she likes you. If she doesn't like you... well you don't want to waste time with her anyway. Being a successful DJ means you can close the ones that like you and quickly filter out the ones that don't so you can spend more time with chicks that dig you.

Women fvcking LOVE to play detective and talk to their friends about you... wondering what you are... if you are seeing anyone. When you just plop everything on the table... even if it's good stuff, you ruin her fun.

This is so true for my OLD profile.

My old one listed what I did, explained what I did, the fact I could work from home, bossed my own time.

My new ones says "I'm very committed to my career but I won't bore you with it"

Talking about what you make, how successful you are etc just screams "Like me for what I've got"

I deliberately DON'T put that shyt on there as I DON'T want a chick who is all about the most successful guy...what if you fail? What if you get ill and can't work? What if your parents die and you have a breakdown? Who wants a chick who is scanning for the guy with the money and success in fact-based format?

They can ask you all this initially when chatting. What would OP think of a chick who puts pictures of her boobs and lingere on her profile? Same thing IMO.

So let's say I make $300k/year flipping houses. You are suggesting that I don't put this at all? Especially not in plain English? Should I even hint at it? What can you suggest that I replace it with? There's got to be something better than "I'm a lion tamer" or some other goofy stuff like that.

Also, what about interests? I used to have a fun life. Now, I spend all day at home. I haven't gone out in probably a month.

My interests include collecting ancient coins (like from the Roman Empire and ancient Greece and stuff like that). I also just bought a 3d printer/scanner that hasn't arrived yet. I also have collected every foreign currency in the world that is still currently in use. I watch YouTube videos about history although I think I'm running out of those to watch. These all sound like pretty boring things even to me.

Also the fact that I'm not even sure what I want. I don't want a monogamous relationship with some washed-up lady on POF. I am still capable of attracting hot girls in person down town if I would go out, I'm just not the best at conversation (understatement.)

I really don't know what to do here or if I'm trying to figure out something that has no answer.

I really don't know. I've never put up an online profile I'm sure there are others here that can give you good advice. I know chicks love finding out about you on their own. The less information, the more she will want to know... if everything is out there... why would she want to go out with you. If I had to do something.... I'd get a good picture of myself dressed well that shows I'm in good shape. I wouldn't say anything about what I do for a living and say I work to live. Then just mention my hobbies and what I think is fun.

Then we had a standard conversation and she asked if I had plans tonight. I said that I didn't, but also didn't make any attempt to make any with her. Shortly after that, she deleted the conversation and possibly blocked me because I can't view her anymore. I wish I could have saved a picture for you guys because she was hot.

Just ask her out. Limit the conversation. When I girl asks me what I'm looking for I say my iphone.
