"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

You're conveying way to much interest over text and you sound needy.
I did.

You guys are right... I guess I do have some sort of oneitis with her.

But it's not like I haven't been seeing anyone for years! I was seeing another woman last year. I was seeing yet another woman last month. Last week I grabbed another yet another woman's FB after she sat next to me when there were other seats available and asked me a question she knew the answer to.
(I checked her profile out and didn't like what I saw, but that's another story for another day.)

The doctor gives you a choice: You could either decide to keep the leg, but with the caveat that you're always going to have problems with it,
You very well know how much of a difficult decision this is. I'm going to wait till next week and see. What's at risk? 1 hour of my time and $5?

I have to see for myself with my own eyes.

Best beleive theres plenty of butthurt people who recognise the signs and go off getting upset about them.
But thats just one of the stages of growing - I think everyone has an angry phase, but as soon as they grow out of that and start finding the flaky female behaviour amusing - theyre at the next step.
Thank you.

EDIT:

I bookmarked PureFilth's link, surprised I didn't see it earlier in a sticky linking to it somewhere. (Maybe there is but I couldn't find it.)

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Went out with her tonight.

Long story short - After dinner we wandered into a park. I kissed her and she kissed back. Lasted maybe 5 - 10 seconds. We went to find dessert but I settled for ice cream at 7-11's. I walked her home and before she went in she said a bunch of stuff, we kissed briefly (this time she initiated) and she went in. Whole night I was being funny and dodging questions. (For some reason I felt like I should tone down the C and I did.) Her parents were home, and I didn't go in.

One day before the date she said sent me a message out of the blue saying I was a great friend. I asked her what she wanted, since only a few days ago she felt the need to explain she didn't go out with another guy. She said she was "all tangled up" and didn't know "what was right or wrong".

After the first kiss tonight I asked her "Are you untangled now?" and she said yes. ;)

Before she got in her house and kissed me she said she don't know what we will be, though she is more sure of herself now; every time we went out she cared about me more and more but there are other factors, e.g. her parents. I didn't say anything until the end when I said "alright" (though I was smiling). (What does that mean? I know I should ignore anything she says before the "but".) She also asked if I want to hang out again, I asked her what she meant, she told me I can call her if I want to hang out, and I told her she can call me too.

An hour after I left she texted me saying if I got home alright, she had a good time, etc, etc. Do you reply to messages like this after a date? (I waited an hour and replied "I got home alright. :)")

There were two things that turned me off slightly; She seemed to be too interested to know about my job and she asked me how much diamond earrings were (I said I didn't know, and asked why she asked, and she said she wanted to get them for her mum; and I really don't like the diamond industry). Red flag?

Whatever happens next, I'll be proud of myself tonight. You guys were saying I was pathetic and too AFC and will fail because she was my one-itis. I hope I've proven you to not be completely right. ;)

I don't plan to contact her again for at least a week. If she asks me to go out I will also be busy for at least a week from now. Will also definitely be busy on friday nights/weekends.

AFC score too you know, it just depends on if thats how you really want to live.

Your up when your up and down when your down, but it doesnt sound like you have learned anything. Its pretty clear she is in the drivers seat. Is there any reason your not spinning plates between then and now?

Yeah if you have something to prove get 3 numbers before now and next week and you might not want to see her again. Those texts eariler made me throw up a little bit in the back of my throat. I would keep your convos for in person with chics for now.... Only use to set up dates.

I didn't say I wasn't an AFC, just not completely pathetic. :)

I'll definitely be able to get 2, not sure about 3 though. The plates theory do work, even if I'm just talking to them; I got a woman's number between yesterday and the week before and also took one out of cold storage. I've been chatting them up via text (I know you said not to do this, but I don't possess a time machine; so next time...)

How do you convince a girl to go on a date with you, if she knows you're seeing someone else?

Offer her the opportunity.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
