What Should I Do Next?

So I was at this party and met up with some hot chicks I hadn't seen in about 2 years.

They shouted my name and called me over, I hugged them and chatted to them for a while. One of them asked to hug me again because I'd become so 'muscely' and they asked me to tense them. Then they asked me to invite them out for my birthday. I asked them If they really would and they said yes. Then they asked me to come to this club down the street. but I had to stay with my mates so I didn't go. I should have got their numbers though.

I've got them both on FB, should i message them or is it too needy?

You need to strike when the iron is hot. It's bad enough you already knew them for 2 years and nothing happened. Why did you stay with your guy friends? To play video games?

If you want to establish something you need to be up front and (implicitly) say "I am interested in you and I am willing to be rejected to take a chance that you are interested also." So yes you should ask one of them (pick one) for her number.

But you're trying to play it safe to avoid rejection. Now you'll be sending them a nice FB message and their phone will chime while they are still in bed with some guys they took home after you let them go.

I haven't seen them for 2 years but I saw them everyday for 5 years before that. The party I was at was in a club/bar and the girls wanted to go to another club down the road. I didnt have money to get into the club anyway.

Should I ask over FB? Thing is I have exchanged naughty messages with both girls in the past via FB but nothing materialized .

And I must mention that one of exchanges over FB was especially awkward between one of the girls but this was 6 months ago and I think she must have forgot when I met her.
