I'm 1/4 Puerto Rican and 3/4 other Eurpean descent (Scottish, German, and Irish). So I put down Cacuasian.

Mainly because they don't dare say "white," I think. That's a big no-no, all the media and public schools agree. Same in Sweden, but who cares? Why dance to their pipe, I ask? Reasonable non-whites will agree this is unfair. I got one email penpal in the Middle East and one in Asia, who both are more relaxed about this than most Swedes - they don't have anyone in school telling them that the word "white" would be wrong. Not a taboo in their parts, or in Eastern Europe it seems. Only in the West.
