What qualfies a thread into the "archives"?

There's been tons of good threads IMHO (in my humble opinon) which I think should be archived admist the swarm of afc type threads. what are the critieria for them?

Here are some I think should be included (and these are just the last month alone, shame about all the threads that are "lost" now)

I don't see why they shouldn't go in. We generally archive huge ongoing threads, threads of interest and classic threads.
