"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

I’ve never been good with women or a Don Juan or anything but a few years ago I met a girl speed dating, we hit it off and within a year we moved in together and rented a place. We’ve been together about 5 years now. She’s cute and very fit/sporty and we get on well, I like her but she isn’t the one and there are other problems which have slowly strangled the relationship and now it’s pretty much dead in the water. It’s just a case of which of us goes first.

I know long term the right thing for us to do is go separate ways but I am also nervous about the future. I am in good shape, live in London and have a decent job but I am 40 next year. I feel like I am too old to be dating again and I was never that good at cold approaches or online dating either – I was never a clubber or bar hopper either. Realistically what options do guys in my age bracket have? I’ve been single for long periods before and I could see it happening again. I lost a lot of control of my life and myself in this relationship and I want to get that back and be better than before but I don’t know where to start. Has anyone else been in this position and come out the other side ok?

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Hey man, it's natural you feel uneasy...you've both invested A LOT of time together and it's not always easy to part ways. I will tell you if you keep to growing and working on yourself you will come back out on top.

I'm sure there are other guys who can relate more to your circumstance and have good advice. Best to ya.

Age is just a number. If you dress sharp, look fit and healthy and act like you're the fvcking man, women of all ages will be attracted to you.

Never give up, never let your guard down and always keep improving yourself. The women will come.
