"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

This is just a question I've had on my mind recently. I've been observing and some things I've noticed are that generally men in their 30's and 40's have wider faces, thicker fingers and generally wider bones. I have no clue if I'm right but this is just my guess. It can't just be facial hair. There's something in the face that seems to change and I think it is that the face gets slightly bigger. So my theory is that when a guy is in his late teens to late 20's after growing up he grows out a little bit providing that he has enough testosterone during that time period.

I've also heard from some people that the cheekbones get slightly more prominent. One last thing I've noticed is that the overall body and face seems not to be "soft" looking, possibly meaning the baby fat is all gone.

Does anyone else know more about what happens to a males face to make them look older from their late teens to 30's? I just want to know more about the subtle things that make a man look older besides facial hair which I've seen people with and they still look young.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Older=fatter.

The US is so collectively overweight that we just assume that pounds equate with years. Being clean-shaven helps promote a youthful image, but being thin is important, too. I got carded buying beer tonight, which is rare, and as I told the clerk, at my age I consider it a compliment.

+ eleventy gazillion. I'm 35, the ONS I picked up Saturday night thought I was 25. She's 23. Most 35-year-olds don't have a chiseled jaw and good abs. Being trim and fit puts you so far ahead of the game it's ridiculous. 40 is the new 30.

It's the accumulation of fat that leads to the larger, rounded shoulders, the "wider" face, the larger frame overall. Older guys who aren't in shape tend to slouch, their guts stick out over their belts. . . stay fit. Stay young.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
