"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Hey guys,

Been trying to surround myself with more people (especially girls) in my college lately. I have hardly any friends but trying to get out more. I've already tried some clubs on campus so far. Trying to get into some more. I also want to find a part time job for winter break/spring semester where I can meet more girls (or at least just be around more people my age in general). I was thinking about the movie theatre I used to work at. The library is hiring and their pay is good but I won't be able to meet many people my age at a place like that. Any ideas? Thanks.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Why would you have to be into men if you were to work as a dancer, especially considering that you're dancing for women... You wouldn't believe how much tail you can pull walking around in boxers or whatever...

Don't you have to be 21 (in the US) to be a bartender? I'm only 20 right now.

I always figured the movie theatre would have some chicks working there or something. That's probably the only place I'll get hired at anyway (b/c I used to work there) as it's hard to get a job around here (at least from my previous experiences).

Thanks for the suggestions so far though. I see so many women at my college every day but can never really meet them as they are walking to class or busy doing work or something.

serving and bartending at a bar and grill, and a local dive bar brought lots of cute girls my way.

bouncing at the hottest bar on my side of town was even better, though. im a good looking guy, but plain and simple there are tons of drunk, horny bar groupies who love to get railed by bouncers and bartenders.

same goes for my room mate, who also has done his share of bar work. its rediculously easy to get laid when youre in the industry and know how to play the game. for me, it got to a point where id work a full schedule at my day job and then bounce thurs, fri, sat night. well those weekend nights were about the same as going out for me. i was hanging out in a cool bar, surrounded by beautiful women, talking to friends, and sometimes i was even drinking. all while getting paid.

also, as far as part time work... if you know your stuff and get in at a good place, its not uncommon to make 300-600 bucks a night, CASH, bartending, in less than 10 hrs of work. even some bouncing gigs pay upwards of 100-150, just to stand around for 5 hrs and every so often get into a wrestling match.

and for what its worth, out here in beautiful phoenix arizona, you only need to be 19yrs to carry/serve alcohol. although some bars will have house rules, such as 21yrs to bounce or bartend.

good luck. although i do have to warn you. working those years in the bar/club industry was a reality check for me. i had no idea how scandalous people really were. all the bar staff members more or less fvcking eachother, all the dirty girls and guys coming through the bar, hooking up even though half are married or "exclusive" to other people, the rampant alcohol and drug abuse...

my favorite though is knowing that a group of 6 guys, some bartenders, others bouncers and a dj have all together railed hundreds of the girls who regularly visited the bar. were talking at least 60-70% of all the girls in the building. always puts a smile on my face. :D

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Erm ...

The bar scene isn't really for me I don't think. I rarely drink.

Don't you have to go to bartending school for all of that?

hell no!

all bartending school does is teach you how to open and read a book!

bartending as a skill/education is about memory and practice practice practice. once you get the "popular" drinks memorized by hand, you then work on speed speed speed. then you can get into "flare," doing cool, entertaining tricks with the bottles and glasses while you make the drinks. its not just about knowing HOW to make the drink, but doing it QUICKLY, while looking great in the process.

and all of that comes from hands on practice. then once youve got the skill, OR EVEN BEFORE youve got the skill, its about WHO YOU KNOW. i know bartenders who are known on first name basis by all the popular bar/club owners and their staff. in other words, it means if youre caught in a bind, they will hire you at the drop of a hat!

but if its not your cup of tea...
