"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

As the title states, what is your opinion of the female characters in the Lord of the Rings and Silmarillion? More specifically, what does a Don Juan think of the female characters? (Eowyn, Galadriel, Arwen, ect) I have never posted in any kind of forum before, so please keep in mind that I have no idea what I'm doing.

(I do not mean Don Juan in a negative way. I merely have observed people referring to themselves as such. If it is offensive, I will refrain from using it)

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

They are fictional characters

They aren't even written as sexy
{idk, I haven't read the books. But I saw the movies, the bits I didn’t fall asleep to that is}
I'm pretty sure they didn’t fk anyone
I suspect the author would be embarrassed to think they were sex symbols

These are figurehead characters and about as sexy as Ursula von Leyen or Brigitte Macron or Greta Thunberg, who also seem somewhat Tolkeinish

Compare to a character such as James Bond, who is practically synonymous with sexuality

I mean, I doubt many of us have an English degree or have read the books.

The question sounds more like an essay for a school assignment.

Tolkien didn't focus a lot on female characters. I don't think there's anything wrong with that, he stuck with what he knew, and when he wrote the Lord of the Rings he drew a lot of inspiration from his WWI experiences as a soldier. Not a lot of women in trench warfare at the time. Of course, modern film makers cannot stand that there isn't enough focus on females, so they have to expand parts (Arwen) and add in other characters (Tauriel).

Arwen is barely fleshed out at all in the books, but she and Aragorn are supposed to be a parallel of Beren and Luthien from the SIlmarillion. Arwen's beauty was supposed to rival Luthien's. I have nothing against Liv Tyler, but I don't think she could hold a candle to the real Arwen when it comes to beauty. Galadriel was also written as being very beautiful, and very powerful, so it isn't like Tolkien didn't respect women. Eowyn was also nicely fleshed out, and she had a very heroic story arc without having to embellish it.

You skipped my favorite of the female characters though, Goldberry the river daughter, Tom Bombadil's wife. Then there is Nienor, who is in an incestual type of story with Turin Turumbar. And some hobbits, like Sam's wife Rose, and Lobelia Sackville-Baggins, who was depicted as being surprisingly tough at resisting Sharkey's (Saruman's) tyranny.
