When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.
Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.
Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.
The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.
She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.
Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.
The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.
I have trouble remembering stuff that I should know, like birthdays and stuff. In my grade 12 physics class I was using the elementary charge, gravitational and electrical constants, masses of certain atomic particles, and masses of certain planetary objects for about three months and I still had to look it up every day I used it =\.DreamyChick said:But to me this is again proof that when he says he doesn't remember something I say or do that he actually does. To test him I asked him when my b-day was and he was all I don't know why would I remember that? I was all most people do. So then he was like when is mine and I told him and he was like no you're wrong and told me another day and month and I was like you are lying. Then he purposefully guessed the correct month but was a day off and then he's all no wait it's this date.
See most guys have trouble remembering things or are selective but ever since I've met him he's recalled stuff I have said and done at random times and it's absolutely amazing to me that he's so observant.
lol do I detect a bit of sarcasm?DreamyChick said:Oh thanks that is helpful.
I am trying to fix my problem. This has been occurring off and on all summer and I am getting tired of his contradicting words and then actions. He swears there is nothing sexual in anything he's doing and he's not trying to lead me on and that he just wants us to have a happier relationship aka friendship. But nothing he does or says lines up with each other. I am really frusterated I'd rather just go back to the days pre-massages and cuddling.Shiftkey said:lol do I detect a bit of sarcasm?
What's funny is that my advice is true. You obviously want to fvck each other. All this drama you're creating is only going to get in the way. Are you trying to fix your problem or do you just want online attention?
I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.
The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.
Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.
Then do it.I am really frusterated I'd rather just go back to the days pre-massages and cuddling.
In this case, you have to think logically -nothing he does or says lines up with each other.
You're overanalyzing.DreamyChick said:I am trying to fix my problem. This has been occurring off and on all summer and I am getting tired of his contradicting words and then actions.
