"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

So there is this chick at work I was stealing from her boyfriend. Great everything, kino, eye contact and rapport. I should note that everyone at work knows her boyfriend and some are good friends with him.

Well I basically told her I was going to take her out,she was playing hard to get with saying "maybe". She ran her mouth at work telling people comments on how I call her and text her all the time and so on.....I called her once & texted awhile back, where does she get "all the time" from that? She also mentioned to some employees(good friends w/ her boyfriend) that I asked her out?!?! I figured whatever,I have other stuff that could be attended to so I flaked on her, never called her, nothing.

I had the next few days off and apparently she came to try and find me to see what happened. Now I never mentioned how I flaked on her and neither did she...So the next time I saw her I told her I would take her out with the next night, she tried to play hard to get again,I flaked again, unless I get a 100% yes I'm not gonna bother to call her.

Now I figured whatever, her loss, I'm moving on...until I went to work a few days later. I went to talk to her real quick, kept it short just to see her reaction to me,she was acting normal, like nothing happened. So I turn my back to my head back to my department and she tried to trip me!!!!:nono: She kicked one of my legs out from underneath me,luckily I caught myself.

She is obviuosly interested in me,but the question is how much. If I didn't like the job I would just kiss her on the spot right then and there,I can gaurentee she won't stop me. Should I just continue to kino it up,w/ hugs and such. How do I deal with this??? Any input would be appreciated.

That's a good policy. She got ticked off because you weren't giving her that daily dose of attention at the office. I doubt she would actually want to see you outside of work. I see no evidence that she does.

But there's no need to flake on her. If she says "maybe", just say, "we'll do it some other time, when you know you're available." Don't tell her you're going to call, since you're not.

How about hitting on some other chick at your work, the more you push away the more she'll want you.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Is it just me or is it easy to spot the work attention ***** because they refuse to see you outside of work? It's a nice safe environment for them to get their attention. That seems like the easiest way to spot the work attention ***** because they will flirt with you like mad but once you try to move it outside of work hours they shut down. I just went through this a while back at my work. I should have known better but she tried so hard to "entertain" me (as she put it) during work I thought she liked me. She would email me, steal crap from my work area, trip me, everything.

I don't know of any other reason a woman that flirts with you all day would shut down when it comes to seeing you outside of work. Worried about looking like a slut? Just not sure about you?

That's the difference between guys and girls, if a girl I'm not interested in actually dating flirts with me, I make it clear I'm not interested...
