What is this website really about?

I've been reading so many articles and posts, and I feel like the main goal of this website is to program you into something better by teaching you endless philosophies and techniques to know by heart... Being a DJ, shouldn't it be about heart and guts rather than about logic?

EXACTLY! being a don juan isn't about tools and tricks but it really about the mindset you have plus it's SUPPOSED to be helping you become a better you....at least that's how I see it

I hear what you're saying but "heart and guts" is just man speak for "feelings" and we all know what happens when people are driven by their feelings.

Being a DJ is a lifestyle, to what ends is up to you. The world is full of theories and philosophies, a smorgasbord of information in which you can take samples. Find those which are palatable and build a meal of personal insight. Be careful of overindulging, it's hard to keep a lot of this stuff down.

No, it's not. I was around when the DJ Bible was merely a community member's project that was just getting off the ground.
