Need some opinions here DJ's.
So I msg this girl on OK Cupid and get her number. Straight away I basically tell her I want to take her out, she agrees. We have a bit of txt banter for a day or two before I ask her casually what she is doing this weekend, she says shes really busy etc. So I think this is a right off. Anyway over the course of a week shes constantly txting me and trying to engage me in conversation. Foolishly (and mainly because Ive been bored working over christmas) I oblige and get drawn into long txt conversations. I know this is a a bad thing but as I said I was bored and kinda had the feeling she wouldnt meet me anyway.
Throughout the course of the week I learn she meets lots of people of the internet (she seems to have lots of stories regarding meeting people online) and to some extent has issues with men. Interestingly I learn she seems to only meet men online by 'inviting' them to meet her when shes already out with her girl friends in bars etc. Obviously this is a disaster and something any man would want to avoid for a first meeting.
Anyway fast forward to lastnight and she txts me asking her to meet her in a bar with her friends, she invites me to bring a friend. Firstly I would never do this anyway as its not my style, sure after a meet or two I would but never for a first meeting. Secondly I wasnt intending on going to a bar as was up early and in work today and finally my buddies where all busy lastnight anyway. So I basically told her I wasnt going to meet because its not really my style to meet women on a first meet when shes out with all her friends. I was pretty blunt and told her I prefer to meet just the two of us (I did mention at least at first).
Anyway, that was it now. I got no reply back and had nothing off her at all today. Basically I think she thinks Ive turned down her date offer? Have I been nexted??? Is it worth trying again??
To be honest Im not bothered really as she obviously has attention issues and I have a feeling she likes to string guys along. Shes quite hot and I suspect I may have been the first man who has basically turned down her offer of a 'date', in a weird way I kinda feel like I have won on this one
I can imagine most of the guys she asks to meet her with all her friends jumps at the chance.
