I read many different opinions on the subject, one of the many is from the user colossus that no longer posts.
Many said that fat cells simply fills to a certain point and once full they double to host the new reserve, basically they split to increase their capability.
Others say that the amount is genetic and they get full only to a certain point and once they get too full, the body stop accumulating and start burning more.
A further opinion say that such number depends on our childhood and puberty and the amounth reached then is fixed therefore fat kids tend to get fat easier even if they manage to get tigh right after while those who were skinny to being with hardly get fat.
Anyone has data or an opinion about it?
