"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

I tend to talk to most people and show them respect and be polite. But you can definately be over polite.

I show them respect until I have a reason not to, if somebody is being a **** to you or talking **** and you still stick to being over polite then they will just walk over you.

Think of the over polite, over nice person who is always looking to you to see if your pleased... it's annoying isn't it. It's the same when you are like that to others.

Well, I think everybody deserves a bit of respect, regardless of gender, but I also think "Chivalry" can lead to girls feeling justified to treat men like slaves. I, personally, don't hold the door for girls. Only for elderly folks and handicapped folks. Both of those types of people have to work their asses off or HAVE worked their asses off in life, so it's just nice to relieve them a bit.

Girls, on the other hand, have the full capability to open their own door, so opening the door for them would pretty much say "Hey, I think you deserve more respect than other people simply because you're an attractive woman!"

To me, it just screams "beta AFC woman worshipper".

May seem narrow-minded to some of you, but it earns me more respect in the long run from other people since I'm not subjecting myself to the position of the guy who is incredibly nice and easy to manipulate.

There are other ways to do this, yeah, but it's just my personal way of doing it.

I think politeness is just having a basic respect for everyone, though. Being polite is like not staring down a woman's shirt like she's a sex-doll, or not calling a guy "gay" for having longer hair than you. I believe it's the lack of respect for other people's choices, taste, lifestyle, etc. that leads to crime. Think about it: If a guy would respect a girl, he wouldn't rape her. He would respect her too much to just force something like that on her. If a burglar respected other people, he wouldn't disrespect them by breaking into their house and stealing their stuff like they don't deserve it.

I guess it all comes down to basic human rights and treating everyone equally. You know? Chivalry isn't treating people equally. It's putting the women in the spot of special treatment simply because they have a vagina, and that literally makes as much sense as putting a horse in the spot of special treatment because it has a mane.

Dunno, though. Life is weird, and maybe I'll change my mind about all of that.

That's just my personal take on it.
