you coudlnt eat the amount of chocalte it would take to replicate love in a month.


then you have to consider the commitment, memories, friendship, loyalty, goals...I could go on and on.

What I don't get is that does love exist elsewhere? Are we as humans the only being on this earth that feels this so called "love" feeling?

What point would we have in having a mate if love didn't bind us? All of you have seen it's results when love fails. People get divorced, there are fathers who would have no part with their children but are forced to by law.

There is no love there and yet when there is love it allows people to find a way to stay together, work things out and raise children.

Animals find a way to take care of their offspring as do any other form of living creature on this earth. How do they find a way to do it?

One thing I will never understand is how people will not even look at the similarities between life that exists. That because we have the ability to type, speak and read that somehow we are that much more superior to anything else on this planet.

Animals fight, animals take care of their children and provide for them in the same manner a human would, animals "cheat" on their mates as well. Yes it does happen and yet it won't matter what amount of knowledge or information you bestow upon people, if they believe in something, nothing you say will change that.

Love may just be a word invented by mankind to express the feeling two people "share" or to express the bond of two people. Then if that were true, what binds people? what makes the difference between one person and another? what purpose is there for relationships and of having gf's? Why bother with it at all? Why? Do we actually have a choice? Or is it something that takes over us?

There is a big diffrence from what we had in the begging to what we belive love is now. The way love is portrayed the way people talk about love is nothing its bullsh*t it's fake.

I never said that 2 people cant have very strong feelings towards eachother. Although those feelings are just chemicals in you're brain i never said i dont belive in them.

Anyway this is a pointless argument there will always be people liek you and there will always be people like me. We would be arguing to no end so fu*kup about it.

yo black italian, maybe youre being a little too cold about love, and have never truly experienced what it feels like, or you might just have a cold view on love....some people are like that, and no it doesnt mean youre less passionate about life or whatever, its just the way you are. and to other people love might be the strongest, most wonderful emotion one can experience....my point dont argue with another person, when theyre sharing their view about love, and that goes to the other person arguing as well.

Anyways, actually up until a couple of weeks ago I thought that i was never going to need a woman and i was never going to get married, that it was just a waste of time and energy... just like DJhoolaloop was saying, theres got to be a binding force to realize that we would be better off if we had the other half. Im not saying im in love right now, but ive deffintly been experiencing emotions like it, or so i think. Now i really do have a different view on marriage and a couple being together, and how much better the right woman would make me. its hard for me to see myself 15 years into the future, without a wife or a companion.

that quote that was in the first page that said love is an illusion that makes a woman different from others... thats quite a genuis quote. This girl that ive been seeing, even tho shes about an 8.5 makes me feel things that a 9.9 wouldnt...and in my eyes this 8.5 would be a lot better than a 9.9 anyday. so love might be an illusion, it might be for the weak, a creation of hollywood(yea hollywood played with your head and hollywood developed one of the best emotions a human can experience) or whatever else label it might get..... i think its worth it

we all know over a short time 6 months to 2 yrs..you adapt to it..and that high is gone..but will re-surface occasionally.

love is more than lust.

so u lust your family and friends? NO!

its the same concept with a women..just on a differnt level.


also the chemicals in your brain that spark what we call love..are NOT mentall imprints..which means thats not real emotion..the emotion you feel towards a sport, or friend, or anything...that takes time to develop..

love is a mental imprint in your brain. the same as your family and friends..

From what I've observed about love, it's not an emotion. If you see love as an emotion, you can "love" many, many different people. When someone says that love is an emotion, they're probably talking about the chemicals released in their bodies automatically, unless they're just talking out of their asses because they've heard other people say the same thing. I'm not going to bore you by going into detail about this, but suffice to say that these chemicals can be released by what you see, smell, touch, etc... this is not love, it's just an involuntary response triggered by instinct. However, your "love" interest will obviously trigger these responses.

Now, onto what love is...

Ever noticed how in the movies, the honorable guy will always jump into the path of a bullet to save someone? This is an extremely drastic and totally predictable example, but makes no logical sense. After all, if you took that bullet, what's to stop them from firing another and another? Are you gonna swoop back up and block those as well? **** it, on to the real deal...

If you love someone, you've conciously and/or unconciously realized that you would put their needs before yours, no matter what. This means not cheating on them, not lying to them, not trying to manipulate them, not ignoring them, and the list goes on and on.
