Stop overanalyzing every little thing. You are far too worried about words which are near meaningless with women. Pay attention to actions.

Spot on.

Women are emotional and they make emotional decisions. There really is no consistency how she feels in the moment has no relevance to what happened in the past or what might happen in the future. She says you're a friend... well that is EXACTLY how she feels about you in that moment. Tomorrow could be completely different. So what a woman says is not nearly as important as what she does.

I play this one of 2 ways, either:

1) If my IL in her is decent I say "oh ok yeah, friends, that's what I was thinking too." Then go out "as friends", tell her what a great friend she is. Get her hamster spinning going 'Why does HE think of ME as just a FRIEND.. Thats... thats.. thats.. not how its supposed to go! Am I ugly? What did I do or say to only be a friend to him'? ... Really bust on her hard too.... Play on her insecurities and be railing her that night! I have done this multiple times... It's awesome...

or

2) If my IL in her is low and I have better options, say "ok well thats not going to work for me.. Been good hanging with you. Take care.".. Then block, NC, ghost, nnnnext....
