All right most of us know that if we give a girl our number not only will she not call us back (9 times out of 10) but if she does call us back we've giving her control of our destiny (a huge DJ no no). So whats a DJ to do? Well as most of us know theres always more than one way to the same destination. With that said heres what I do:
When a girl says something along the lines of "No, you give your number" I temporarily break out of character and emulate an AFC persona. I act like I'm so excited that shes asked for my number (not to much, moderation) and say something like "Really all right, hold on let me get my pen (grinning like an idiot, in moderation of course)." Then I write down (555) 555-5555 (on a side note I usually tell girls my name is Ashley to set up a few laughs when I approach them and hold out on giving my real name. So in turn I usually write Ashley above the number).
What this does is usually give me a chance to walk away from an approach with my head up and little need to reinforce the reality that comes with approaching women or better yet it gives me a continue. You know how in video games when you were a kid (on Super Nintendo and what not) if you died in most games you were given the option to continue. In other words I get a second chance at seducing that particular girl. As a matter of fact it ends up being easier the second time around because if she wasn't laughing before shes at least laughing now. If you get a chance try it (However I am a huge supporter of going for emails instead of phone numbers so I suggest you go for the email as your closer). I assure you, you won't be dissapointed.
