What happened to Google, or do I have a virus?

What happened to Google search, the very first page of search results is garbage from other unknown websearch websites...
the second one is ok, but still seems worse than it was before before....

Do I have a virus that affects it???
Did Google change its search system in a bad way?

Not sure, but Google's security is crap. It's very easy to pick up a virus from a malicious website through google.

Probably not a virusbut do a scan just to be sure. Is most likely spyware/adware.

First of all you should have sp2 installed. This is the newester version of windowsxp. You can download it for free.

Download adaware SE and update it then run it.

After that do an online virus scan with panda virus or micro trend.

You should also block 3rd party cookies which is in tools/internet options/ then click on privacy tab and click advanced and set it to block 3rd party cookies.

a lot of this sh!t is installed through the security holes in Internet Explorer.

You might want to consider switching to firefox.
