What forum do you miss the most ?

alt.binaries.multimedia.erotic - p0rn in the era of 14.4 kbps dial-up internet, LOL. I think I still have the hugeload.avi file downloaded from there. The binaries were run through some program to make an ASCII-7 file, and typically, you had to piece together a bunch of files to get a whole short video, LOL.

Those are all good forums. Personally I miss Roosh’s old Orthodox forum…the one he closed somewhere around October 2023, I believe.

Reddit really f'd up online forums.

I remember in the 2000s, I was on two forums and made so many friends from it, those that became real-life friends. There was an intimacy to those forums.

Now, Reddit totally took over the forum genre and is total crap. No sense of community and oppressive suppression of speech. Most Reddit forums now use auto Moderators that will automatically delete posts containing certain phrases. You don't even know what word of phrases were offensive.

You can bet there will soon be AI moderators that looks at content and approve only if it's 100% free of controversy and nobody would get offended.

If there is one major website I wish would go tits up, it'd be Reddit.

Yes, I've been banned at like 20 reddit forums.
