. . . .I had a falling out with a girl, and push came to shove let her know that in various ways that I'm not interested . . .:nono: Still, there came a point I realised that , I can't get rid of this girl (as I can't avoid her on practically a daily basis), and if I chose to ignore her, it means I care and if to again point out her faults would cause an argument that will go nowhere quick . . .

. . .So after compromising and being in the least ready to be on speaking terms, this girl ( rather attractive one at that) employs the following tactics . .

. . .Planting her ass on my lap as I sit studying . .

. . Everytime I lean in to kiss her goodbye on the cheek, she will be sure to palnt a smooch on the lips

. . .Telling me I'm the best

. . . Sending me nice pictures of herself . .

In other words anything that might get a reaction . .I have reasoned, I have pleaded , I have nearly begged her to leave me alone . .And it nearly worked . . . .

But my question is what drives the overpowering impulse in women to have the last word in and see if gthey can get their hooks in to you, especially at the moment when you feel you've rubbed yr hands of them . .So is it better to be on polite speaking terms with a girl rather than face the gauntlet of facing a silent psycho????

first off when she does anything you need to NOT react in any way.
like she sat on your lap while you were studying, continue to study or speak to her about anything related to studying.

Basically the only reason she is doing these things is to get a reaction out of you, and by you reacting it means there is something there (ie you sort of like her or interested in her)

the more you react= the more she will continue her games/tricks
stop reacting= she will eventually, EVENTUALLY get the point

. . .There just seems to be a fine line in these situations i.e if u deliberately ignore her, she may also see this as a sign of caring / interest, and in response give me more of something to chew on . . .What makes it especially difficult , is that as a person and woman , I find her particularly repulsive . . . .

. . Oh well . .To avoid these ends I guess we must avoid these beginnings . .
