My question is this: if you enter into a relationship with a woman, does she believe or hope that this will eventually lead to marriage?...or does she think that she will keep you around until something better comes along?

I am in my early 20's, and am wondering what it means to be in a relationship. My girl says about it being a relationship, and is keen for it to be one, for me to be her 'boyfriend' etc; but what exactly do these labels mean? I have no ideas about marriage at all, but I'm wondering how women see it. What do you guys think?
