“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

Long story short.

After knowing a girl a short while I asked her out for a drink via text message (horrible, horrible mistake - will never do it again).

She agreed. Wanted to make sure it was a "friendly drink" and questioned my motives. Red flag. Repelled with ****y and funny.

The day it we were supposed to do it I rang her to set a time. She asked if I was ready. I wasn't. She wanted to go for it at 2. I wanted to go for it at 6. It didn't happen.

A couple of weeks later, I asked her again, in person: "we never did get around for that drink did we; why don't we do it Thursday night" etc.

She agreed on the spot.

Later on, she text messaged me saying something about her Dad's birthday being on the same night. I rang her up later on, and she repeated the story, regretfully, and said she wasn't free on the Wednesday. I suggested we go out when I get back from holiday, and she agreed, again.

So, all this "agreeing" and nothing's happened. She's a nice girl. More personality than looks.

Do I ask her out for a "drink" again, or give it one last shot using another angle (I could use suggestions for that actually)? Or shoudn't I bother at all due to the inital red flag that means there's no way to save face?

What do you think?

So why didn't she go when you got back from holiday?

I wouldn't fool with her. Like you said, all this agreeing and nothing happens. When she said she couldn't go after all, she didn't suggest an alternative night, right? And when she agreed to go on that Thursday, she knew that her father's birthday was that day. I think she's messing with you. At least back off for a while and see what happens.

You have given her the benefit of the doubt on a couple of occassions now and offered to take her out - and still nothing to show for it.

I'd give her space, if she wants you she will come after you and also regret braking the dates.

I swear I think every girl's parents have at least 5 birthdays a year. That is the most famous excuse i get. Also, i watch my friends and they get that excuse a ton. Either we are really good at guessing what day girl's parents have their birthday on or they are BSing us  :D

Yeah, ive had the "parents" birthdays excuse used on me a few times also, and then "her aunty was dying" and finally ...sisters wedding ..all by the one chick!

And yet, she'd still manage to make dates with me on these days, but at the last minute, these important "events" would pop up...

God..i waisted some time on this biatch..

Oh how could i forget the friend/sister/2nd cousin's sisters roomate wedding excuse. That has got to be the second most common. I havent had this pulled on me but i have seen it on more than one occassion with my friends.... The girl first pulls the parents b-day excuse and then within a week they have to go to a wedding they had forgotten about   In my entire life I have only been to one wedding. What are the odds? :D

Go forward.

Keep calling her, keep trying. She is your one-itis right now, just because of that FACT you WILL get rejected. Always with the DJ principles in mind ofcourse.

I take it I shouldn't bother then.
Yep, I wouldn't bother. She already gave several red flags and some birthday excuses with no counteroffers. She's one of the "nice girl" who doesn't wanted to reject you on the spot. Sorry but you should move on.

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

Something similar happened to mee recently too, but I didn't get as many red flags as you.

Me: We should go out for a drink.
Her: OK, I'd love to.
Me: I'm free on Wednesday.
Her: Sure, that sounds good. I was planning on going to the gym that night, but I can go in the morning instead. I'll have to see.
I'll get back to you.
(pretty much knew this was a No Go right there.)
Me: OK. (I didn't really care too much anymore.):D

I really wish women would stop agreeing on a date then cancel.
Just make up the lame excuse when you get asked out. Don't say "yes" then back out later on.

I'd forget about calling her again
