Ok, it's been a looong time since I last posted. But here's a scenario. I want your opinions on this gal I've known at work for several months:
When I first started the job, she invited me out for a drink where she was meeting some of the other girls at work for a drink, but later. So for an hour, it's just us at this bar on a Fri after work. She buys me a drink, so I ask for her mob no which she gives with no hesitation and proceeds to ask for mine. The other girls come by shortly after.
She mentions her bf when I asked her about her plans for the w/end.
Within the next 3 months, I called her about 4 times asking her for a private one-on-one drink. She declined all those times, however for all of them she counteroffered with suggestions of joining her for class x or class y which she does during the week. I never called more than once a week in that period.
I generally have never gone out of my way to hang round her at work for these several months and I haven't made any moves on her for months, I more or less NEXTED her.
The strange thing is she never mentions her bf much, I've only heard those words from her twice when she's directly spoken to me. I've lost count of the amount of times I've caught her staring at me with those fvck me eyes. She's usually quite happy to see me and has gone out of her way to be nice to me such as when she found out I was going on a holiday, she emailed me some advertisements with cheap airfares (twice). She also invited me to a party of her's and some girlfriends.
The thing is, I'm moving away to start a new job, and I'm certain she likes me even if she has been seeing this guy for 3 years. I only rate my interest in her just above average. She'll definitely miss me when I leave, I know.
