"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Without a doubt, the easiest way to beat those times is to simply keep busy. As the saying goes, idle hands are work of the devil, or something like that. If you're busy, you have no time to think about how crappy your life is, or is not. Depending on how much time you have to kill, read a book, find a hobby, get a part-time job. It's also proven that working out helps self-esteem; join a gym.

While I was never really depressed or anything, I always had those good and bad days; I think everyone does. However, for about 3 months now, I've been at work full-time and school full-time, and damn, I value every free minute I can get. I'm not worried about petty stuff or women or any BS; I'm worried about getting time for homework and enough sleep to get back to work.

But you know what? Even though I've had significantly less time to go out and be social, I've had more success with women than I typically do.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Pursue an alternative consciousness. Drugs and alcohol are the obvious and unhealthy way, but everything that changes your mood or distracts you is an alternative consciousness, like exercise, reading a book, or even posting on sosuave...

You have nothing to contribute here. Your pessimistic outlook on life clearly says a lot about you. Go cry somewhere else. We're done hearing it :)
WTF? The entire thread is pessimistic. You are the ones sitting around in Birkenstocks crying about how bad your bland middle class lives are. Sorry if I find all of you a bit too spoiled.
