are you the type that when you walk in the room every one looks round to see what you go to say? or do you have to fight for peoples attention, just to get yourself heard. With me it varys from person to person, some people will listen to me intentivly and shout my name as i walk in the room, with a few particular people i can think of, i strugle to get their attention, oddly enough even thou one of these people iv had laughing for 20min at a time on a regular basis yet countless number of times he said "i think thats the first time you have made me laugh"

its odd isnt it, well i have a little experiment we should all try (i havent yet)

walk in the room start talking to some people and then say somthing like "funniest thing happened at the weekend" then stop and see what happens, do they turn away? or do they prompt you to cary on talking?
 

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

There's no way I'm doing this. I get a lot of attention without having to put myself on the line like that. Breaking into someone's conversation and saying something obscure like that is a socil phopa and will probably get me labled as weird. As it is I come off as natural and confident when ever I meet some one. I can usually ad points to a conversation that are on the topic the people are discussing or if it's a dead silence I can start a converastion using the enviroment around us or come up with something that gets the mental juices flowing in the minds of the people I'm with so they'll say something.

Being a socil deviant is not always the best way to go about getting attention. Being a socilite means knowing how to execute a proper socil engagement and come out of it smelling like roses with little effort.

why would you want people to stare at you weirdly? That's what happens whe people act weird and try to break into coversations without introducing themselves, with an off subject. Stairing and wondering is the standard response for socil deviation, which is pretty much what you proposed.
