I just wanted to share this little dating scenario of mine that happened about 2 weeks ago...For the past 1 year and 6 months, I've met the some of the shadiest *****es I swear...This is the RBM(Rebound Material) in action.

So I met this one chick through a friend of mine(HB5-6) over at a coffee shop around April. She was showing SOI's right off the bat: Constant eye contact, laughed at what I was saying even if it wasn't all that funny, *Paid attention to me and spoke to me even though there were 2 other people at our table*, and right when I was about to leave she said "KEEP IN TOUCH!"....ding! ding! ding! Thats when we exchanged numbers and to top it all off she ended it with a "FIND ME ON MYSPACE!"(lame hahaha). Anyways, after that night we'd text eachother both asking when we're free and the best time to meet. It went on like that for about 2 weeks then out of nowhere she just stopped responding to my texts. I decided to text her once more but she didn't respond so I thought I just said F.U.C.K. it and tried working on other chicks....

About 3 weeks ago i get a text from this chick saying **** like "oh, i havent heard from you in a while ". I responded with "Well, you don't respond to my texts or myspace comments..." straight up. Then out of nowhere she responds with "Im sad b/c I havent seen you in a while haha. Been pretty busy but we should make plans to hang out."....keep in mind that all in all that we've only seen and spoke to eachother in person for less than 2 hours...

So the weekend came and I decided that we should just meet at the same coffee shop where we first met. As soon as we got seated, I kept thinking to myself(sosuave.com! sosuave.com! sosuave.com!) and all the things i've learned here =P. I made sure to keep the convo around herself and not so much around me. There were some points in our convo where we would have awkward moments of silence and we'd just kinda look into eachothers eyes...I know that eye contact is major while you 2 conversate and I made sure to have done so as she and I spoke, but just during moments of slience it just feels damn weird...Sadly, I crack during moments like these end up losing my cool, and I say some retarded ass sh!t.

Along the lines of our convo, she had happened to have mentiond a very crucial piece of info I found interesting.

ME: So how many roomates with you in your apt?
HER: Oh, my friend, her boyfriend, and MY BOYFRIEND.
ME: Thats cool....hold up a sec I got a phone call...(walks outside)

RED LIGHT! wtf!? BOYFRIEND?! Ok, so at this point I already knew where I stood with this chick. I was the boy on the side. She was probably having probs with her boy and decided to rebound her ass on me(hence my user name)...lame? Anyways, as I was outside pretending to talk on the phone, I was trying to decide what to do next...I then decided to just end this "date" here. I told her a friend of mine really needed me at the moment and that I wish I could stay alot longer...THE END.

I drove home kinda pissed and dissapointed...

So like the title of this thread, Im deciding what to do here. I know that the obvious answer to this question is "Drop her. Forget her. Find another *****."
I got that part set and ready to go..but I was also thinking that she would make great practice on what Ive learned here. Im not saying that Im gonna go and steal her away from her man cuz thats just whack. Im saying that if Im gonna be a boy on the side, she can be my ***** on the side =). Hell, she's BEEN the girl on the side for me. Catch my drift? We both obviously dont mean **** to eachother so I think this can only work...

if I was in your shoes, I wouldve stayed and played it cool. she obviously told you because she wanted you to know, but there was also obvious attraction to you on her part. I wouldve played it out, she called you for the date. But only a hb 5-6 I wouldnt put a whole lot of work into it.

Thanks for the reply dood. Yea, i would have stuck around alot longer but just that fact already threw off my game...Oh yea, about those awkward silences. I noticed that she seemed a little distraught that night. Im guessing she was having BF probs and needed a guy that would give her attention(RBM)...boo...See, what makes this chick an HB5-6 is one small detail that stands the hell out. oh yea, the texts were brief dood, well, mine were. If anything all my texts basically say "you free this weekened?", "You free this thursday?" etc. As for online, we've chatted once through AIM and it didn't even go smoothly. It was one of those convos that had one person respond 1-2 minutes after each response. Yea, i feel you on the communication in person thing because I personally hate talking on the phone or online. We've never had any conversations on the phone or a decent one online. All of it was in person.

Sounds like you may have come across as a friend during the initial meet, so her dropping the Boyfriend line wasn't a big deal, because your just another of her girlfriends.

The snippet of convo from the second meeting makes it sound like you guys probably just shared alot of general small talk, with little romantic language or conotations.
