What did I do wrong?

Hey folks, I was talking to a girl I met online thru lavalife on AIM. She knew what I looked like and SHE made the initiation. She did not have a pic but told me she was 5'7", blue eyes, slim and used to model. She asked me If I ever modeled and I quote: No, to be frank I am fairly attractive but not striking looking to be a model. The convo had been going well for a good1 0 minutes (AIM) and about 30 seconds after my comment she said she had to go. I AIM ed her today and and said hi and she signed off instead of replying. I do not think I did anything wrong about the modeling comment, I was just being honest. It almost seems I made it sound like I was not good enough for her...atleast she may think.

Yea, your ex is pretty cute. You are probably right and I should of just answered "no" instead of elaborating. I just use online dating to keep my options open, but chicks are way shady on these sites.

told me they were models, they never were
(OK, maybe they posed once for an
art class...)
Also, I've never heard of online dating
being particularly successfull. Some of
those dating sites hire girls to respond to
you so you pay to become a full member !

Trust me any girl that has modeled professionaly has a portfolio and at least a few pics online. That girl..was no model.

well she said she did it while she was a little kid (she is now 21) and then did it again a couple of years ago.
