"I love you"

and

"Love you"

Do you think " I love you" has more meaning than "Love you"?

Would it bother you if your girlfriend mostly said "Love you", as opposed to "I love you"? Would it be of any concern to you?

If she's consistently avoiding saying the actual, total expected phrase, I smell a game being played; I'd suggest using her game against her, and leaving out the "I" from your declarations of love to HER for a while.

I agree with Omni. "Love you" or "Love ya" is less serious than "I love you", so be suspicious. I would go farther and make her say it first, then say the even less serious, "Me too".

Just as I said, things are too overly-analyzed around here. Most people don't even think about this stuff. I would be more concerned if she just said "me too" after you say it.

You should give her one "I love you" for every 10-20 she gives you anyway. If she says "love you" I'd stretch it to 30. SHE should be wondering if you love her as much as she loves you - NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND!!!!!!!
