"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Just like alot of AFCs who don't even try to pick up women, all of my friends are AFCs as well. So basically, I'm on my own when it comes to picking up chicks. My friends are either total nerds, unemployed bums, or devoted christians who love Jesus way too much.

Basically, I can't even stand being around these people anymore and want to hang around people who can help me meet women, and won't be embarassing to be around.

In highschool I barely ever went to parties or really talked much to women. I stayed away from social events, and me and my friends would just sit there in our own group, talking about how "dances are for fags", then we'd go home and play nintendo 64 all day. Add this to the fact that I was an 'avid christian' and stayed away from drinking/lust, and you've got a big AFC with big problems.

I recently gave up both video games and church, but now I'm not really left with any real hobbies. Since I'm in college, taking business courses, and working part time at a grocery store, I'm stuck here living with my parents, and couldn't afford to move out (and won't be able to until 2006 when I get my diploma).

This leaves me in a dilemma... if you don't have a regular social life, you won't have much fun, and you'll be very needy when it comes to dating women. Women want a guy who has a life. How do you suddenly get a life? Should I be looking for guy friends before looking for women? Will dating alot of women draw in some guy friends? What type of hobbies can I get into to help build a social life?

Another problem is that my parents are devoted christians, which means that I can't really "bring a girl home." It sucks.

I need all the help I can get. Thanks in advance.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Please read DJ Bible, and read a bunch of posts before doing what other AFCs do. We're not your brothers or your friends.

Dont discard your AFC friends - they were their for you and if you throw them away you may find later in life you will have nobody, keep them. On the other hand, since you got no Juan friends, go make some MORE friends so one day you can chill with your AFC'S and then the next your JUAN friends. Its that simple, as for other information you want - go read the DJ BIBLE, you are an AFC that wants to change, to change, you need to work hard at it. GO LEARN.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.
