Theres a misunderstanding around the board about how to attract women. Theres no need to be an a-hole, jerk, or be mean in any way shape or form. To attract women all you need is an attractive quality. Some fellows are good looking, and its true that'll only get them so far. A man, not a jerk, keeps a woman interested in the conversation just by talking about his every day life. It seems that jerks have a tendency to lie or over exaggerate things, and whats the point in decieving someone? That stuff always comes back to bite you.
I play guitar and I get lots of girls asking about it all the time. Playing guitar itself is interesting and I can talk about it becuase I've had a lot of interesting experiences with it.

Try rock climbing
learn a new trade - like wood carving and make some really awesome furniture
Travel
Try paintballing
meet new people
try religion
try a different sect of reiligion or belief - i don't mean convert, just try a baptist church if you're catholic or vice versa, or try hinduism
build something
buy something junky and fix it up
talk to old people and learn something from them
read some books
turn off the television
don't pay attention to romantic scenes in movies
learn to dance
play a sport, but stay away from the big 3 sports - basketball, football, and baseball
be a mentor for some kids
donate your time to a good cause - i played my guitar for some people in the hospital and made them happy

Create experiences to talk about and you won't have to wonder about what to talk about.

The secret to attracting women is not being a jerk and not showering them with gifts and compliments. People want what they can't have, so don't be preoccupied with the opposite sex and they'll start to show up more. I once fell in love and it came along when I least expected it, wasn't looking for it, and when I wasn't worried about finding someone to spend time with.
Once I wasn't preoccupied with the ladies around me, I began to become able to talk to them and treat them like what they are, just regular people.
I used to see posts like this on this board and they helped me the most. I tried the jerk routine, and in the end thats what they'll remember you as.

I appreciate your post. I've tried being a fake jerk, and it sucked. Even if it did bring me mild success with chicks, I'd get pangs of guilt. I can't mistreat any human being.

I'm going to do the sort of approach you discuss. I suppose it's a "just be yourself" type of attitude--although it's your GREATLY IMPROVED self, who harvests the full enjoyment out of life, not the total loser that I was when I was an AFC.

Playing guitar actually draws a lot of women. I play it myself, and you always have girls that want you to teach them how to play. Not to mention you meet a lot of girls after a performance, and they're just begging you to play them a 'private song' or whatnot. Learn how to sing with a guitar and you'll find yourself a fun pasttime that helps your game.

Musicians dig chicks.

I'm learning to play the electric guitar. I suck really bad, but once I get better I'll buy an acoustic and play it in public. It'll be sure to attract some attention

Hey Shizama ... i think you'd be better off learning the acoustic, then moving on to the electric .. most electric guitar songs require really elaborate solos, their sound is bad if you don't hold the guitar properly (distortion), etc ...

songs on the acoustic are mostly romantic, the kind chicks dig, and the chords are much easier ...

that's what i think, ask somebody else for a second opinion ...
