Went out last night for my sister's birthday and met about 10 new people

- good looking/in shape
- successful
- very personable
- classy/upscale/etc...


... and literally every single one of them was shocked that I was single. They all said that I was a very good looking dude, a genuinely super nice person, they were all impressed by my fashion sense, my drive/ambition in life, how well spoken and intelligent I was, etc... No I can't date any of them or any of their friends - they were all mid to late 30s married couples


So how is it possible that I get such raging positive feedback from people on a constant basis yet I can't get a good looking/in shape woman my age to be interested in dating me?

You need to start posting field reports. You post the same thing over and over. Give us specifics when you approach a girl. As in what you say, what she says, where do you approach, etc. My bet is you just stay on sosuave.net and LARP. Also not sure where you work, but location is critical.

I live 40 minutes from Chicago

I love partying in the city but I would hate having to go there constantly. I love suburbs life. I hate traffic, the constant horrendous parking, etc... I'm good going to the city once every 2 weeks

The problem is that 80% of hot women in their 20s don't agree with me and prefer to live in city, yet another thing that makes this extremely difficult for me

Problem solved: take some of that big money you earn and rent a place in the city so you can have a crash pad there for weekends. A one bedroom, a studio, even a room in a house.

I think you need to accept the fact that you are going to be single for the rest of your life. Embrace the reality you are destined for. Get a cat and start living your life. Travel, hobbies, do fun things. Stop chasing women. Your going to drive yourself more insane.

- I try to fill my day with as much fun as possible


I don't really chase women because I very rarely see any decent opportunities where an approach is not excruciatingly difficult

Based on what? 90% of my life focus is my obsessive drive to maximize money. I think way more about that than women. I'm trying super hard to make 200K this year. I'm on track to make 185 190 right now (keep in mind that's 200K in a cheap area. For you San Fran/California bros, you would have to make 500K to have my quality of life)

Outside of that, I focus constantly on working out, staying in shape, being very healthy. I love sports, I love videogames, I love music, movies, etc...

I'm not dependent on a woman for happiness...but I've been permanently single for 29 years. I want to have some sort of semblance of a dating life. I'm so tired of being the only guy at every social gathering i go to who is ALWAYS single. I hate it

Probably cause with your sister there you weren't overly concerned about yourself and how you look. You were also comfortable without trying to be attractive.
