"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

I was with my oneitis, when a friend of the oneitis text me, saying I want to **** your brains out. I showed this to my oneitis and we both thought it was a joke, so my oneitis text her back, pretending to be me... Later on in the evening, I sent another text back, jokingly, asking when the proposed **** was going to happen... it turned out after a chat that she was serious, and not just joking, so the situation is striklingly wierd.. How do I get rid of her...

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Don't get rid of her. You've got it on a silver platter. If oneitis is driving you crazy and she's not your committed GF get it done. You have little to lose. And if oneitis is commitment-phobic, teach her a lesson.

Surley this would end any chance I would have with the oneitis? Also, seeing as the oneitis sent the firtatious texts for me, that is pretty manipulative and using her 'skills'. I mean I have no issue with banging girls, but I preffer to get them on my own accord, and I get a fair few.

oneitis by definition is infatuation with a woman you cannot get. A: She sent flirtatious text messages for you, apparently she doesn't mind too much if girl B "effs your brains out." I know if she was into you, she'd probably have reservations about it and definitely wouldn't be sending these messages. No, it wouldn't end any chances you have with the oneitis, think about it. Things could always "not work out" and you go back to your oneitis.

Just don't blow it with this other girl and you're in.

We both really thought she was joking, based on a conversation the three of us had a few days before, this is why the situation is so weird. It seems more than likley that she is joking, but is trying to prolong the joke, or else she would be here now ****ing me, wouldn't she?

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

call her out on it,

Use the "Prove it" method.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Chloroform.

Then drive her out into the middle of nowhere. Preferably a field or something.
Maybe she'll find her way back home. Maybe not...
Well yeah, but she is a friend, so I need to do it lightly.
