"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

More than a month ago I met a cute chick at a rock concert. She's a great conversationist and we had a lot in common. I sincerely complimented her a few times. We venu-changed to an afterhours club where I put on serious moves on her.

We danced, I put heavy kino on her and we made out a bit. It was late so we left the club. We held hands as we were walking to find a taxi.

Before we got into taxi she offered to exchange numbers so we did. In the back of the taxi we were holding hands and talking a lot.

We stopped by my place but i didn't offer her to stay over with me that night (it was 4am!) and I was genuinely tired. So I said bye and she gave me a goodnight kiss on the lips.

Fast forward two weeks. I tried getting a hold of her but she was busy (parents coming over from abroad to visit). Finally I scheduled a date with her.

We met up a local minibrewery that has excellent food. We had an excellent dinner and we talked afterwards for more than an hour.

As we were walking to her car so she could give me a ride home, i tried grabbing and holding her hand like I did on the club night but she pulled away (!).

When she dropped me off home I went in for the kiss on the lips but she turned her cheek.

I asked whether she wanted to do this again and she agreed.

Fast forward a week, we have another date. We meet up at a quiet bar with live jazz band. We talk a lot and are sitting pretty close to each other at the bar. I did light kino, brushed her hair and all the standard stuff. After two hours there I walk her home cuz she lives literally a block from there. I try grabbing her hand AGAIN and she makes it very difficult for me by putting her hands in her pockets. I tried locking hands with her but she just did not cooperate. I walked her home we hugged.

Another week later we meet up to watch a movie. She picked me up. We decided to grab a bite before the movie. Our dinner conversation shifted into strange area that we do not usually talk about. She began talking about her problems and frustrations with work (red flag). I agreed and related that these kinda frustrations happen in every field.

She bought tickets for the movie cuz I paid for dinner. In the cinema I attempted 3 times to hold her hand but she pulled away and did not reciprocate.

Afterwards we go to another bar near her place. We sit and talk about usual stuff. Then towards the end she said "So this is the 3rd date huh? I don't wanna lead you on, I don't think this is gonna work out. That's why I resisted holding hands with you (in the theater)" She said she "wasn't sure what was gonna happen" on the club night.

I inquired why she agreed to go to all the dates with me. But the problem is that I didn't call them dates I just called her to "hang out". However, given the chemistry that happened at the night club I thought she'd expect me to continue that. She responded that she was very interested in talking to me.

What could I have done differently?? Should've I dropped her after 2nd date?
I feel like I was "safety" on reserve in case her other prospect didn't work out.

FYI - This chick is 30 and I'm 23

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

This is got to be the most disturbing dating experience for me. She didn't flake, never ignored my calls, always talked in upbeat tones happy to talk to me. We had STRONG rapport, the amount of things we have in common is striking. I constantly made her laugh. And she's not one of the regular chicks I meet at bars. This one was very HSE and very intelligent.

After we parted for the final time I told her we should go to a rock concert sometime cuz we like pretty much the same stuff. She agreed again.

I kept a down to earth frame with her, i don't think I made her work enough for my attention though. I provided a lot of material for conversation and she'd always fill in silent spots.

I truly don't know what to make of this. The oddest date ever.

Well, her age can be somewhat telling. 30+ year old single women are a bit fvcked in the head. They're usually damaged goods, been screwed over by men (at least according to them), may hear their biological clock ticking, reading the book "The Rules" and could be Single Mothers.

That IS odd...but not odd to women; that's natural women behavior, and as yoiu get more dates, you will notice that women won't make sense to you.

You were too pushy. The attraction for you didn't build up inside her. Sure you have a good time at the club that night, but that doesn't mean she also went crazy about you. She liked you as a guy, your personality, and decided to give things a chance and go out on a few dates with you so she would KNOW you better. People don't make relation-chips in one night, unless it's just a one night stand of sex. For rapport, you have to go out on a few dates with her first, so you can get to know each other.

Now with you being pushy...DUDE. It is entirely your fualt for messing it all up. By trying to grab her and touch her, and kiss her, and all these sweet things, when you barely even knew each other, is BAD. What you were acrually doing by trying to get close to her physically is asking her for APPROVAL. Women don't like guys who chase them around. They like hard-to-get, mysterious, confident, and UNPREDICTABLE guys. What you should actually be doing at those first dates, is treat her like she is your best buddy, your bratty little sister. Let her be attracted to you and THEN when the attractions builds up inside her, then you can make a first move...and that would be just a kiss.

You were too pushy and that pushed her away. I am almost positive that if you did not try to get physical with her, that the dates would go on. But never act as if she is already your girlfriend. Treat her as a friend.

Those two guys are the best in the field (Juggler's book isn't bad either).

A lot of people don't support their ebooks, and believe that everything they say is crap, and without even reading them!

I can tell you that a fair bit of what these guys say are what personally worked for them, but also a lot of the other stuff they say is actually the reality of what's behind the psychology of the female gender. These guys have gone out countless of dates for many years and have had many experiences, and they do know their stuff. Now whether someone thinks that this is bull, I do not care, I don't feel like arguing about it. But my personal advice is pick up one of these books (start with the doubleyourdating ebbok). After you read it, you will be smacking your forehead for all the things you did wrong. :)

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

She's gaming you.

She pulled back and turned her cheek because she's playing hard to get.

Where you made the mistake: "We danced, I put heavy kino on her and we made out a bit. It was late so we left the club. We held hands as we were walking to find a taxi.

Before we got into taxi she offered to exchange numbers so we did. In the back of the taxi we were holding hands and talking a lot.

Generally when you meet a woman for the first time, you want to keep the interaction brief.

Get her email but wait a couple of days before sending her an email.

You have 2 options

1. You can next her.

or

2. You can "push" her away.

Pushing her away will make you look more like a challenge and way less needy.

To "push" creates mystery because it makes her think about you more....it gives her a chance to wonder whether or not you like her.

I'd suggest waiting a week....invite her somewhere. Say you take her for Ice Cream, after you two have met together (assuming that she drives her own vehicle) half way through your ice cream and at the peak of your conversation, suddenly tell her "I have to go, I'll talk to you some other time." And then leave.

If you do this properly, she'll be thinking about you all day, wondering why you left.

Good Luck:up:

Was I pushy?? I tried HOLDING HANDS, that's not exactly a top shelf item. Simple kino. I didn't try to kiss her after the 1st date. I went on the 3rd date pretty much knowing what was gonna happen (or not). As for rapport, in the club night and first date we covered so much material in terms of getting to know each other that I didn't imagine this not working out.

We clicked right away. This just doesnt make sense. She did tell me she just got out of a LTR, I related to that cuz I just got out if LTR too. So i figure she didnt wanna jump into another one.

With the kind of strong rapport we had I was sure we were going down the road to friendsville if I didn't make my intentions obvious.

Heh...OK. I won't be pushy... :)

But if you're willing to read DeAngelo's stuff you will improve in how you behave around women. That's all I'll say.

if you don't want to do that, fine with me. I will leave it there. But you already have my opinion.

Are you marketing for him or what? I've read it all. Mystery Method, DD, Juggler, Swingcat.

I was C&F, made her laugh consistently cuz I have a unique sense of humor.

There's a concert coming up in early April. I'll probably give her a call in couple of weeks and tell her to come along.

No matter the situation, women like a challenge. A woman could have just gotten out of a abusive relationship, but she still likes a man who is more of a challenge.

Holding hands is a sign of attraction and "LTR status".....On a first meeting, NEVER put on heavy kino because kino is a sign of attraction.....If you do it too heavy, it gives it all away... I mean, eventually a woman will know that you like her...but by that time, you will be in a relationship. When you are in a relationship, you still want to keep a bit of mystery....but from time to time, reinforce that things are still good.

In LTR's, women will test men to see if they are still the same "Strong, confident, ****y, funny and unpredictable" man that they first "loved."

Keep your guard up.

By the way, women don't control their emotions.. If a woman feels attracted to you enough, she'll be in a relationship with you, trust me.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

WTF??? No kino, no holding hands, what are you supposed to do? Tell her how special she is?

Using kino doesn't tell her that you're in a LTR with her. Kino helps get her comfortable with you and shows that you're not intimidated by the beautiful princess that stands before you.

When you are in a relationship, you still want to keep a bit of mystery
Mystery no longer has use when you're in a LTR. If you keep things a mystery, the woman will think you're trying to hide something from her. Secrets don't work well when you're in a LTR.

I didn't say "no" kino...I said "no heavy kino"...this is a first meet....you aren't on a date with her....you are simply trying to get her to feel some attraction for you...and by being too intimate like that..you give it away......heavy kino implies more than just "holding hands".....no holding hands on first meet...

Don't even tell her how special she is...just a brief convo is needed.

The thing is, he didn't initiate it. She did. So according to your post, she was telling him that she was in a LTR with him?

She was playing games with him.

IMO, no woman is worth the trouble nor the frustration of dealing with her stupid-ass games. Life-Trainee had done nothing wrong here. She was the one who gave him the green light to take things a bit faster by holding his hand and kissing him on the lips the first night. The second date, she backs off and rejects the advances that she initiated. The third date, she tells him "this isn't gonna work." She's the one causing all the problems, not him.

She may be interesting to converse with, but she's a 30 year old game-playing b1tch and probably has enough baggage to crash a small plane.

Well, gaming is all apart of it.

It's all in knowing what to do to make your game stronger than hers.

But yeah, there is a point to where the games are just not tolerable anymore.
When that point comes, you next her.

Speaking of green lights....oh yeah! women give men green lights all the time.

But when dealing with women, you don't want to become an opportunist and take every green light that she gives.

Sometimes you have to show the self control side of you and not take it.

If you show self control, she'll want you even more.
