Does anyone know if a person can gain muscle from drinking muscle and weight gainer while doing a workout of push-ups, pull-ups, and dips?

Most weight gain powders and drinks are just alot of carbs/sugar and very little protein. Take in more protein and work with those and you will see better results.

So yes, you technicly can, but it will be slow.
