"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Ok.. I have been seeing this girl for quite some time now, and we've really fallen for one another. However, there is a problem. Her family has money... both of her parents have great careers while my parents are separated and well... we're bascially poor. I live wit my mom in an apartment... and my girl doesn't know yet.. she hasn't even met my mom yet... but i have met her parents.

I just feel so fvcking embarassed about my standard of living compared to hers...im 20 shes 21......... yea i know, i live wit my mom still.. so what... im goin to a community college n livin at home, but i plan on movin out this summer.

I'm not really askng for any help .. unless one of you dudes wanna hook me up with a million bucks  lol ... but i just want some feedback.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

dont bump your own posts after an hour.

if your embarassed, you arent confident. you have to be sure she likes you for who you are and not what you have. just make her pay for dinner then.

if you cant get past this, you wont be able to keep her.

this is no big deal. Represent what you have to the fullest, in other words, be PROUD of what you have and where you come from.

She is not obvioulsy attracted to you for what you have tangibly, she is attracted to you, or what is within you (your personality), she does not have enough money to buy that- and that is what counts.

If YOU are not proud of your roots then why should she be? At the end of the day you are all you have left, might as well be proud of it.

It is simple.

Rich girls really dont care if the guy had money or not. They look for a guy that really cares about them and is confident about himself.

Most guys are not very well off at the age of 20, however, the meet a good woman, they work hard and build a life for them selves. The become wealthy later in life.

Don't expect too much of your self! she wants YOU, not how much money your parents have! Understand that you are only 20 and still a student. There will be plenty of time for you to make money and do well for you self.

Dude...you are a full time student. So, you should not feel ashamed that you are living with your mom for the time being.

That girl 's family has money...you don't. So what? You are not interested in her family.

If $$$ is important to her...then why even bother? There is NOTHING you can do about.

Well, there is one thing...get educated. Find a good job. And then become independent.

If you make her feel VERY attracted to you...she will overlook the "negatives" in you. But if you start showing insecurity, she might become attracted but not that much...and then your "negatives" would be more important to her.

One more thing; Remember...at that age...all you need is POTENTIAL. The potential to go far in life and become independent. The smarter young women can see that.

Don't neglect your studies. And be confident.
