Experience after experience, how did you know if a woman in a relationship was after you to make her boyfriend jealous, or out of genuine interest in you?
Like a list of red and green flags, I'm sure many of you here are smart enough to understand this and have a checklist of factors to support it.

Define "genuine interest." Women are always after what you can provide to them. It is what they hard wired for. Whether that is money, resources, social exposure, etc., this usually forms the basis for what they after. Rarely is it just that she is physically attracted, but that doesn't hurt.

From personal experience, if someone says their relationship is “complicated,” especially while implying they want to continue seeing you, that’s a clear sign they’re keeping their options open.

On the other hand, if she consistently uses “we” when talking about her partner, mentions the things they do together or plan to do, or refers to him by name in conversation, that usually indicates she still feels committed to him.
