"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Forget for a couple of minutes girls, approaching, AFCness, PUAs and everything you learned so far. Just visualize this word:

CONFIDENCE

I bet you have always wanted it, even before finding this Forum.
Confidence does NOT only serves to get ladies. It will do wonders for your game, but it will improve your life overall.
What are good ways to gain confidence? Very simple, do something new everyday. I know, I know, it has been told many times in this board. Anyway, this is what I think of when I say do something new:

1. Take a bus. Very simple, take a bus without knowing where you are going and how much it will take for you to get back. Just put your fùcking headphones on and jump on the first bus you see. Don't get down until the last stop.

2. Has it been a good saturday night and you have to ask somebody for a drive home? Don't. You got feet and legs. Walk, even if it is 5 miles and it's 3 am. I've been doing this since I was 16 and I'm still alive.

3. Take a bike and cycle really far from your hometown. Some months ago, I've cycled for 3+ hours straight on the hills and I got in the open country, completely lost, without a clue how to get home.

4. Bet with some friends that your favorite team will win the next match. If it loses, run around the neighbourhood screaming in your underwear.

5. Get lost in a big town you don't live in.

Do something you don't have a clue how you'll get out of. This will give you confidence for sure.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

LOL... its all a bit mad and far-fetched

Just recognise that life is short... if you see an opportunity whether it be with a girl, or in business and you don't bother to take it or take too long to act, somebody else will step in and take it up...

That's one less opportunity for you... and hey, you may never have an opportunity that good again... do you want to go through life trying to search for an opportunity as good as the one you just missed, or do you want to be that person who saw it and made the most of it...

If you take it up and it doesn't work out, you didn't lose anything... you've learnt that it wasn''t as good an opportunity as you thought it was initially...

Its all about realisation... when you put it all into perspective, real confidence comes through because you realise that a rejection is so irrelevant on the scale of things...

What the f*ck? How is running around in my underwear going to help me gain confidence?

And taking a bus not knowing where I'm going? Isn't that just making me into a dumbass?

Sounds like if you're able to do these things, you got too much time on your hands!

Here are some REAL confidence boosts:

-workout and get the body you want
-take up an MMA sort of martial art, like thai boxing or BJJ
-educate yourself about everything and try to gain a deeper understanding of the world

In my opinion, confidence is all about knowing you have CONTROL in your life.

Are you trying to say put yourself in challenging situations and overcome them? Then after that you will gain confidence?

Interesting. Do passing cars throw half eatin' cheese burgers at you when you walk down the street?

2. Has it been a good saturday night and you have to ask somebody for a drive home? Don't. You got feet and legs. Walk, even if it is 5 miles and it's 3 am. I've been doing this since I was 16 and I'm still alive.
That's very productive.

3. Take a bike and cycle really far from your hometown. Some months ago, I've cycled for 3+ hours straight on the hills and I got in the open country, completely lost, without a clue how to get home.
Man, you rebel, without a cause.

4. Bet with some friends that your favorite team will win the next match. If it loses, run around the neighbourhood screaming in your underwear.
Man, That one will get you laid.

5. Get lost in a big town you don't live in.
Awesome.

I got one for your list. Get lost in a big city, walk around and every girl see, walk up to her, jam your finger down your throat, puke at her feet, than get down on your knees and try to eat it up. Man!!! LAID !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

this is like the beginning steps towards getting confidence. these little obstacles will let you see that you can overcome things and gain confidence. Once you see that essentially everything is an obstacle for you to overcome, you will probably follow somthing similar to the path WORKEROUTER laid out.

What?
What this topic does is tell a person how to waste time. You're not going to get confidence until you deal with your fears not these gay things. Most people suffer from socializing confidence problems. Driving your bike into the middle of nowhere doesn't help you one bit.

Despite all the criticism, I think he's got a good idea. Confidence, true confidence, isn't just focused in one area of your life. You may be confident in one thing more than another, but the people who just win people over in minutes no matter what the situation have an all-around confident air.

You don't need to focus on pick up snad girls to build your confidence, and I like that this guy looks to build it through other worldy interactions.

I think some of his ideas are a bit off, but in principal it's not bad. I think a better suggestion would be try something new, and perhaps risky, everyday. However, such new/risky things should be based around socializing. Going off to the woods alone is just sheer stupidity. If you come out of it, then fine, you've gained mental strength and maybe some badassery points, but I doubt any confidence you have will have a lasting effect on you socially.

Hence conquer the things you're not confident at. That doesn't mean do stupid ****. I'm not confident with my skills at eating dog sh*t, but I'm not going to eat **** to get confident in that area.
You know, because I don't give a flying **** about eating dog ****. Just like no one gives a flying **** about driving their bike out to the sticks. Confidence is built when you accomplish real goals that better yourself and move you toward your overall life goals.

I agree to a small degree with the poster. I think he mean to say you should do something out of your comfort or fear or find difficullt. Getting lost is fearful, but you test yourself that you are not afraid of it, and a result it makes you more confident.

I tested myself by doing things alone when most people need friends. I did it as walking in a dangerous place alone. I did it by going to the movie alone. And of course eating at the restaurant alone. It makes me feel good that i did it. I think it makes me feel I'm less afraid of things. But it helps very little in boosting my confidence in approaching women. *sigh*

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

I'd just thought I'd let you know that you aren't clever, and that your hostility just makes you sound stupid.

That's a goal for you...stop being such a dumbass.
