So a friend of mine, he's pretty much the first guy I met when I moved out to the area I'm in and I met a lot of my current local friends as a result of that. Super cool dude, laid back, and we had some mutual passions, etc.
Anyway, this guy semi-disappeared off the grid a couple months back and then I heard he had a gf. Then he started posting stuff on FB about "I think I found one of the good ones" etc. When I saw that I thought to myself, "uh oh this guy's headed toward disaster". Then I go to a party where they are both at and this guy's on Cloud #9, never seen him smiling so much. When I saw this I thought "disaster imminent".
Btw, this girl is a HB5 at best in my opinion. I wouldn't tap it if she fell in my lap honestly, and I when I saw her my first thought was that he could do better (aesthetically that is, I thought maybe she has the heart of a saint or something and that balances it out for him). My buddy's been single for a long, long time and does not practice plate theory or anything like it.
So a few days ago we chatted on FB and he tells me he might break up with her and she's been making things rough on him. I told him to follow his gut and to always judge a woman based on her actions, not her words. I also told him to withdraw attention and see how she reacts.
To his credit he broke things off with her. Anyway here's a couple of his excerpts from our chat today:

As you can see from the above, the AFC is strong in this one. Since he hit me up a few days ago I've slowly been dispensing some subtle red pill truths to him. Just thought I'd share this as a reminder. I can tell this guy is pretty beat up about it, and I feel bad for him. Stay vigilant guys, don't invest your soul into the first girl that gives you some attention. My brain has been working overtime thinking about all the bull**** I put myself through with her.
Everytime I really wanna give myself to someone I stop listening to intuition
i know were not right for eachother obviously
cause if she was right for me she wouldve made me feel it
all she ever gave me was a pain in my chest and constant wonder
i did a lot of nice things for her too
we both let it go for too long I guess
